Creepy Joe Biden

Not only was the Biden administration keeping files on U.S. citizens, but one of those people was sitting there at the table, a member of the actual cabinet. “And by the way, I’m not gonna say who it is — I’ll leave it up to them — there’s at least one person at this table today who had a dossier in that building of social media posts, to identify them as purveyors of disinformation. We have these dossiers. We are going to be turning those over to these individuals…and they’ll decide whether they want to disclose it or not.

“Was it me or Elon?” Vice President JD Vance asked, causing the room to burst into laughter.

But watch the whole thing.

Quoi?

Breitbart- Trump to Sign Order Ensuring Truckers Speak English

“President Trump believes that English is a non-negotiable safety requirement for professional drivers, as they should be able to read and understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officers, border patrol, agricultural checkpoints, and cargo weight-limit station personnel, and provide and receive feedback and directions in English,” the document notes.

JD Vance in India

This recent speech from JD Vance is well worth a listen.

On a personal note, I am extra delighted every time Vance speaks because I know very well how much his intelligence and eloquence deeply annoys the urban elites on both coasts of America. Unlike them, he was not born with a silver spoon in his mouth, and yet has proven to be smarter and more accomplished than most of them.

Maryland Man

Choose your hard;

It feels like just yesterday that the left was braying about alleged members of the Venezuelan transnational gang Tren de Aragua being sent to El Salvador’s CECOT mega-prisons as part of their deportation. That’s because, more or less, it was yesterday.

However, over the next few weeks, we might see the same leftists braying a different tune — this time involving the fact that they aren’t being deported via CECOT but might be spending the next few decades in federal prison.

Art Of The Deal

Zerohedge;

To begin the week, we highlighted a potential breaking point emerging in the global economy due to the escalating tariff war: Chinese plastics manufacturers—heavily reliant on U.S. petrochemicals—now face production halts as shipments are increasingly being diverted from the world’s second-largest economy.

Bloomberg cites new ship-tracking data showing that a very large gas carrier hauling U.S. propane has diverted from its initial destination in China to a new port of call in Japan.

The data showed that BW Gemini is hauling 46,000 tons of propane from the U.S. The gas tanker left Phillips 66 Freeport LPG Export Terminal in late March and was initially headed for Yantai, China. However, in recent days, while traversing the Pacific Ocean, the port of call was changed to Imari, Japan. […]

Chinese plastics factories that depend on a gas they mainly import from the U.S. are contending with the prospect of widespread shutdowns as the world’s two largest economies bunker down for a prolonged trade war

The note titled “Chinese Plastics Factories Face Mass Closure As US Ethane Supply Evaporates” focused on ethane, a petrochemical feedstock to produce ethylene, one of the most critical building blocks in modern manufacturing.

Nothing Better To Do

It beggars belief that the federal government actually involves itself in determining the correct number of lanes for city streets, but that’s the state in which we now find ourselves. I’m reminded of an episode of The Simpsons where Homer becomes the Springfield Safety Czar and pegs the downtown speed limit at 5 miles per hour.

Federal transportation officials once heralded road diets for cutting crashes by 19% to 47%, but criteria for an upcoming round of road safety grants say projects aimed at “reducing lane capacity” should be considered “less favorably,” the administration said.

47: China Is Asshole

Stephen Miller is my spirit animal.

As if to prove his point: China has officially halted shipments of several rare earth minerals to the US.
