The Persecution of Canadians Shall Continue Forever

Zero criticism of incoming Ukrainians but doesn’t the ongoing treatment of Canadians bother vaxxed normies?!?

The Canada-Ukraine Authorization for Emergency Travel (CUAET) is available to Ukrainians who want to come to Canada temporarily. There will be no limit to the number of Ukrainians who can apply through this pathway and eliminates many of the normal visa requirements. All eligible Ukrainian nationals may be able to stay in Canada for up to 3 years so long as they meet the criteria of the CUAET.

IRCC is also waiving many fees for eligible travel and immigration documents, such as Canadian passports, permanent resident travel documents, proofs of citizenship, visitor visas, and work and study permits.

The Government of Canada is granting exemptions for unvaccinated and partially vaccinated Ukrainian nationals to enter Canada temporary resident permit or written notice of approval for an application for permanent residence in Canada.

Nothing Like the Smell of Fresh Narrative Shift in the Morning

Now that the elections are over, and they lost once again to the totalitarian idiot Justin Trudeau (who does that?!??!!?), the pathetic, gutless, loser federal “Conservatives” are going all butch on the Evil Transportation Gnome in Parliament and he seems not to like the spotlight.

#StunningAndBrave (NOT)

At the same time, we see a little trail of Librano breadcrumbs being dropped on the carpet here and there.

More doctors are also speaking up publicly about the mandates-this would have never been allowed on the CBC even a few weeks ago.

Do you think this signals the beginning of the end of Justin “I admire China’s basic dictatorship” Trudeau’s punishment of the uppity citizens who declined the Magic WuFlu Juice?

Is the government psychologically prepping the Covid Zero hypochondriacs of Toronto (the “416” that might as well be called the N95) and all the Covid grifters that the mandates are coming to an end? Even the ridiculous Mayor of Toronto is joining the “it’s over” party right before the municipal elections. What a weird coincidence, right?

Could it also be that Toronto’s gazillion bazillion times boosted vaccine zombies are  sloooooowly realizing that the mandates will inconvenience them as well?

The Libranos: Show Me The Man, I’ll Show You the Deferred Prosecution

Great moments in Liberal corruption.

Quebec prosecutors have received court approval for a deferred prosecution agreement with Canadian engineering giant SNC-Lavalin Group Inc., the first such deal since the new legal mechanism became law in 2018.

Judge Éric Downs of the Quebec Superior Court sanctioned the agreement in a verbal decision on Wednesday afternoon, thereby settling criminal charges against the company related to a bridge contract in Montreal two decades ago. The judge said he would publish a detailed written decision later.

“We’ve reached a point now where this company has an integrity program that’s exemplary,” prosecutor Francis Pilotte said. “There really was no reason not to offer them an agreement. [The law] was made for cases like this.”

C2C Journal- Frozen: How Canada’s Banks Betrayed their Customers During the Emergencies Act

Even more curious, the banks were never given written instructions on how to implement this policy. As Department of Finance representative Isabelle Jacques told the committee, “We haven’t sent [the banks] any written details or information. However, we have made ourselves available to answer any questions the various institutions may have around implementing the order.” The entire “nuclear option” scheme was apparently applied on the basis of verbal instructions.

The federal government was clearly hasty and slipshod in going after supporters of the trucker protest. The policy was neither well-thought out nor legally iron-clad. This can likely be ascribed to the prime minister’s eagerness to politicize the event, and his rush in trying to bring it to a quick conclusion. The bigger question is why the banks would go along with a scheme that made them the tip of the government’s spear. Not every industry is prepared to toss their customers’ interests aside so quickly.

Rupa Subramanya- India’s courts get it right on vaccine mandates — and Canada doesn’t

What is fascinating is that this extraordinary Supreme Court judgment in India is in the context of a Westminster system, a system originating in the United Kingdom but also, of course, shared by Canada. Unlike in the United States, with its tradition of activist courts that are not shy to push back against the executive or legislature, and are highly protective of constitutionally enshrined civil liberties, the Indian judicial system, like the British and Canadian systems, tends to exhibit a culture of deference to Parliament. While India’s Supreme Court has clearly circumscribed the extent to which the federal or state governments can impinge on individual rights in the interest of public health, it’s noteworthy that nothing comparable has occurred in Canada. This is striking, given the similarities between the two countries’ judicial systems.

Emphasis mine.

It’s wrong to believe the Trudeau-Freeland agenda is to regulate home videos.

YouTube officials have warned that if Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s internet regulation bill goes through, it could give the government unprecedented power over everyday content posted online.

According to YouTube Canada’s head of government affairs Janette Patell, Bill C-11’s wording is so broad that it places home videos within the purview of the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC).

Despite claims by the Trudeau government that the law would exclude ordinary videos, several experts have blasted the update to the Broadcasting Act as an affront to freedom of expression.

C-11 is a weapon to target their enemies.

I Want A New Country

The Trudeau government has approved a massive oil project in Eastern Canada, while at the same time, blocking energy projects in Western Canada. Meanwhile, Quebec has become the first jurisdiction in the world to end all oil and gas exploration – but of course, they’ll still benefit billions from Canada’s equalization program courtesy of the West.

On this episode of The Candice Malcolm Show, Candice is joined by seasoned entrepreneur Michael Binnion. Michael is the President and founding shareholder of Questerre Energy, a public oil and gas production company operating in Quebec. He is also the Executive Director of the Modern Miracle Network, whose mission is to encourage Canadians to have reasoned conversations about energy issues.

Candice and Michael discuss Quebec’s controversial decision to ban oil and gas, the Trudeau government’s anti-Western Canadian bias and what the oil and gas sector is doing to lower emissions and much more.

Josh Dehaas: A long struggle for due process

The emergency measures required financial institutions to search their records for customers suspected of “directly or indirectly” engaging in a “public assembly that may reasonably be expected to lead to a breach of the peace,” or “directly or indirectly” using their money to facilitate such protests, and then seize their accounts.

That’s a classic general warrant, a writ of assistance in fact, enlisting banks to help King Trudeau and Queen Freeland hunt down their political enemies without going before a judge to prove reasonable grounds that a specific offence had been committed by a specific person. Section 8 is designed to keep us secure against unreasonable searches and seizures by the executive, and the only way for individuals to maintain this security is by requiring specific warrants from an independent judiciary, barring exigent circumstances.

This profound assault on our section 8 right will hopefully be raised during Justice Paul Rouleau’s inquiry into the use of the Emergencies Act, despite Trudeau’s attempt to focus the inquiry on the truckers themselves. Even if section 8 doesn’t get examined during the inquiry, the Canadian Civil Liberties Association expects to raise it in Federal Court if they’re successful in convincing a judge to review the decision to declare the protests a national emergency.

To understand just how precious this protection truly is, it’s worthwhile to spend a moment examining its origins in Canadian constitutional law, which is inherited from the United Kingdom.

Half Way There

James Topp is now at the half way point in his march across Canada from B.C. to Ottawa. He is protesting the vaccine mandates and would like to talk to members of parliament about them. To date only 3 MP’s have shown any interest.

It’s day 75 of his march and he’s got another 2173 km to go. Walking 40-50 kilometers a day. He will be crossing over into Ontario sometime in the next few days.

A good podcast interview with him here from last night on the Shadoe Davis Show.

Nice recap/slideshow of the first half of his journey here.

This is Kind of Cool

As you’re watching the video you can move the point of view around in any direction. Up, down, left, right and front to back. It literally puts you in the middle of everything. It’s from the Rolling Thunder march around the Parliament buildings and side streets of Ottawa.

Doesn’t look like it works properly on a phone. Might only be a desktop thing.
