Immigration fraud has overwhelmed Canada’s international student program, the Auditor General found Monday, with 153,000 students flagged as potentially non-compliant, funding to investigate only 2,000 potential fraud cases per year, and nearly all of 800 individuals who fraudulently entered Canada later approved for permanent status or immigration extensions.

One number above all others defines the scale of the failure: of 153,000 international students flagged as potentially non-compliant with Canadian study permit conditions, the federal government investigated fewer than 4,100 — laying bare an enforcement system so overwhelmed it cannot meaningfully police the program it is mandated to protect.

Calls for bleed kits to be installed in every major bus station and on bus routes in areas affected by serious violence have been backed by the London Assembly.

Assembly Members unanimously passed a motion requesting that Transport for London (TfL) to work with the London Ambulance Service (LAS) to ensure the kits will be made available across the network.

Bleed control kits help stem severe bleeding from deep wounds before emergency services arrive – a “potentially valuable method of saving lives”.[…]

Elly Baker, Labour’s transport spokesperson proposed the motion.

“I’ve heard too often from young people that they don’t always feel as safe as they should do travelling,” she said.

“Passing this motion will show that we are listening to young people and backing the investigation of a potentially valuable method of saving lives.”

In a recent interview aired on RED FM, Jaskirat Singh Sidhu, who has been ordered deported the courts, the CBSA, the Immigration and Refugee Board, as well as the appeals court, says his last option is to challenge his deportation order if the CBSA does not allow his request to defer the decision on his new application to stay in Canada on “humanitarian” grounds to the Minister of Immigration or the Minister of Public Safety.

If what he says is true, he is not going anywhere anytime soon. Avenues to avoid deportation after destroying 29 families seem to be endless in Canada.

At the time of writing, the University of Toronto is listing two separate job openings that are explicitly barred for white men. The school is hiring a researcher that must be “Black-identifying.”

And they are hiring an assistant professor of computational biology that must be either non-white, disabled or identifying “at the current time” as one of the following: Women, trans, nonbinary, Two-Spirit or gender fluid.

My advice: if at all possible, shovel and shut up. Most of Canada has ancient indigenous graves all over it if you know where to look. I’m personally aware of an unmarked grave in the same spot where an old Indian campsite used to be in my neighborhood.

A couple say they’re on the hook for hundreds of thousands dollars after Indigenous ancestral remains were found on their property in Wainfleet, Ont.

More than 550 training schools for commercial driver’s licenses have been closed, the U.S. Department of Transportation says.

Following 1,400 sting operations by 300 investigators across all 50 states, the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration found many lacked qualified instructors, had fake addresses, and did not properly train prospective drivers for things such as transporting hazardous materials.

Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy said some teachers were licensed or permitted for school buses, not the trucks requiring CDLs they taught students to drive. Some driving instruction was in vehicles not matching the prospective CDL licensure.

What do the judges do to reach such decisions? It sounds like they just cut and paste the appropriate references to colonialism and presto! they have a judgement.
