Racial Injustice

What do the judges do to reach such decisions? It sounds like they just cut and paste the appropriate references to colonialism and presto! they have a judgement.

Morrison and his father provided the appeal court with affidavits that “detail a difficult past, lost connections with relatives who lived on the Six Nations of the Grand River reserve in Ohsweken, Ontario,” said the appeal decision. “Mr. Morrison’s father recounts a difficult life, marked by alcohol abuse, family violence and alienation. As a result, Mr. Morrison’s father became disconnected from his Indigenous roots, which had a reverberating impact on his children.

I’m sure smoke inhalation will fix him right up.

He has attended smudging ceremonies and sought services from the Indigenous liaison officer,” Fairburn said.

Barriers To Crime

No, the freeway fence is not meant to “hide poverty”. It’s purpose is to prevent low IQ voters from throwing bricks at your car in an effort to disable it so they can proceed to rob you. Maybe these twits think that if tourists no longer come to Capetown they can all get rich selling drugs to each other.

Mayor of the City of Cape Town Geordin Hill-Lewis recently announced plans to spend R114 million to build a wall along the city’s notorious N2 highway, a move that has divided experts and political parties.

GOOD Cape Town Councillor Siyabulela Mamkeli said that this is a “physical barrier intended to hide poverty from tourists travelling between the Cape Town CBD and Cape Town International Airport.”

In niche minority news:

Mr Kotetsu and his publishing associates, all trans-identified males, have an extensive history of lively, one might say titillated, online discussions regarding child molestation and its various sub-genres, including sadomasochism and incestuous necrophilia, along with pointers as to how to circumvent normal online proprieties and legal restrictions when sharing… content.

One of Mr Kotetsu’s associates, a cross-dressing man named Violet Rose, enthuses about “hurtcore,” a form of sadomasochism involving minors. Mr Rose chides critics of the phenomenon, i.e., critics within their own bedlamite community – those who find it a little too much – to “stop being ageist.”

Cross-dressing paedophiles, the new downtrodden.

“Ontario Man”

Sukhwinder Sidhu, 31, admitted to both counts in a virtual courtroom Tuesday morning, accepting responsibility for the horrific crash that killed the new mother in Melancthon Township and injured several others, including her young son.

The guilty plea came two-and-a-half years after provincial police said Sidhu, while behind the wheel of a speeding transport truck in a construction zone along County Road 124, crashed into the back of several stopped vehicles, including a Cadillac driven by Paul, who had her 10-month-old son in the backseat at the time of the pileup.

Keir Starmer’s Britain

Where the foxes caper unmolested, the government packs your school lunch and a convicted terrorist is standing for election in Birmingham.

Shahid Butt was found guilty of a plot to blow up the British consulate in Yemen in 1999, but said the charges were fabricated and that he was tortured into making a confession.

Both Labour and Conservative politicians raised concerns about his suitability when he announced his plan to stand as an independent candidate, in the Sparkhill ward on the Birmingham City Council.

Butt said: “If they think I’m an extremist then I can’t change that opinion – at the end of the day it comes down to the people of Sparkhill.”

Seems plausible.

Butt, who was also found guilty of plotting to blow up an Anglican church and a Swiss-owned hotel in Yemen, was one of eight Britons and two Algerians convicted in 1999.

During the trial, the prosecution said the plots were part of a campaign by militants to drive western influence out of Yemen and set up an Islamic state.

Is Our Diversities Learing?

The Bureau;

York Regional Police will hold a press conference later this morning to announce charges against multiple Toronto Police Service officers in connection with organized crime networks that have turned the region’s towing industry into a violent battleground, with youthful gunmen discharging firearms in public spaces and nearly 15 percent of all Toronto shootings now linked to the tow truck wars.

Citing police sources, CBC has reported that nine Toronto police officers have been arrested and charged in connection with what York Regional Police are calling “a lengthy investigation into organized crime and corruption,” dubbed Project South.

The arrests represent the latest chapter in law enforcement’s ongoing battle against organized criminal networks—from Ottawa to Toronto—that have infiltrated the lucrative ecosystem surrounding vehicle collisions, from insurance claims to towing contracts.

Any bets on release of names of those charged today? Update: Those who voted “yes” win.
