Chicago celebrates Juneteenth & Father’s Day.. As of 9am 6/22, chicago officials admitted 32 shot, 8 of them fatally, between 6/19 – 6/21. No word on stabbings or stranglings for same period.
Also celebrating the Lie-Barry opening.
UPDATE ON CHICAGO VIOLENCE
“The Father’s Day weekend in Chicago saw 42 people shot or killed citywide, a 100% increase from the same weekend last year… The victim total likely remained below 50 because of rainy weather that moved into the area, as no shootings were reported after 6:15 a.m. Sunday.”
