In a recent interview aired on RED FM, Jaskirat Singh Sidhu, who has been ordered deported the courts, the CBSA, the Immigration and Refugee Board, as well as the appeals court, says his last option is to challenge his deportation order if the CBSA does not allow his request to defer the decision on his new application to stay in Canada on “humanitarian” grounds to the Minister of Immigration or the Minister of Public Safety.
If what he says is true, he is not going anywhere anytime soon. Avenues to avoid deportation after destroying 29 families seem to be endless in Canada.

Maybe it is obvious, maybe it has been answered before, but my question is who is paying his legal bills? Please tell me it isn’t the taxpayers of this country.
Very likely it’s a taxpayer funded “non-profit” entity. One that will look you in the eye and say, “It’s my money and I will spend it however I want.”

I’m still curious what would have happened to this man had he slaughtered 16 youths and maimed another 13 … in India? Jailed for Life? Stoned to death in the street? I wonder how long this man’s legal appeals would have dragged on in India? More likely the man would be dragged behind a vehicle till dead.

I would suggest legislation to automatically deport anybody convicted of a crime causing death, but our judges would use that to not convict them.
