A really cool map here that shows exactly where all the trucks were parked in Ottawa. It’s probably best to view it on a bigger screen and then zoom in to scroll around.
Kind of blows up the narrative of how things were complete “pandemonium”.

Anti Virus scanner listed the page as a “risky connection” and blocked.
For whatever reason……..just noting.
Who gives a rats @ss what the snobbish Ottawa downtown Karen’s think, they could care less about anyone but themselves. It’s like they built a house on a flood plain and whine afterwards that they can’t get flood insurance.
“Who gives a rats @ss what the snobbish Ottawa downtown Karen’s think”
Exactly, when people are fighting for freedom you have four choices:
1 Lead.
2. Follow.
3. Get the fuck out of the way.
4. Collaborate with the oppressors.
They have chosen 4.
“The lost of business in Ottawa for 3 weeks…ah…was worse than the whole country for 104 weeks because…ah…Math is racist with unacceptable views”
Fidel Trudolph
Never mind that all the businesses that stayed open during the protest made a killing.
Downtown Ottawa in the winter is as desolate a wasteland as downtown Deadmonton. If you belIeve the MSM the economy of Ottawa was devastated. Have not read anywhere about an MSM front line operative actually asking a store owner. I read that Tims made up all the money they lost in the last two years. I do wish people would get a map of Canada, coast to coast, north to south, and then stick a pin at the epicentre of this ‘national emergency”. And while they are at it, try to identify the area called the Oil Sands. Russia has Europe by the scruff of its neck and Canada is sitting on the third largest oil and gas deposits in the world.
Oh the occupation, the insurrection, the emergency.
City of Ottawa wants to know how to make its nightlife more vibrant.
Here’s an interesting suggestion:

Me? I’ll never visit Ottawa ever again.
Ottawa needs a downtown RAVE like this – skip to 3:31:00 for fireworks and music

The Gestapo blockades were ten times tighter than any put together by the truckers. That includes Windsor ON, Coutts AB and Emerson MB.
Bob Rae further down the page says “When Pearl Harbour happened the meetings stopped. C’mon people, stop pretending. War has started.”
That’s why neither Bob, Jagmeet or Blackface Hitler would meet with the freedom demonstrators, eh.
Bob Rae. Isn’t that name you wish you could forget and have the decency to stay forgotten?
Peter Rae, McGinty, Wynne. To quote Robert Burns. Such a parcel of rogues in a nation. Has anybody seen any figures of where the Ontario debt now stands. Two years ago Ontario was the most indebted sovereign entity on the planet. Where do we stand now I wonder and I dare not think about the Federal debt.
What’s Bob going to do?
Hold up a sign “I’m with Ukraine” in a Twitter selfie?
I still say that all those tough Cops should head over to Ukraine and scare those Russkies out. They are TOUGH! those cops!
With big guns.
And ponies!
No petite girls or senior citizens in the Russian Army.
If you didn’t live or work in Centretown or Lowertown—that is, you weren’t a parasite or a businessman catering to parasites—and didn’t come downtown to wish them well personally, you probably never saw or heard the truckers yourself.
Theo Fleury’s tweet on same thread.
“If it’s illegal to give money to a criminal terrorist organization, then why am I still paying taxes?”
It is good to see that Nigerian princes were not effected.
Ha!
Ironically our IT manuals say not to mention a Nigerian princes but say the spam mail came from Texas…
Rich. Accurate take on things.
We need to re-imagine Canada “for the sake of Ottawa” but actually for the good of everyone.
If only protests they agree with are allowed there, it’s time to get the government out of Ottawa in a very decentralized way. Take the 30 ministries and distribute them across the country. Then have a small provincial office for each ministry. Any federal mandate would have to be funneled through the provincial office – some mandates might be bottlenecked and never really implemented. Parliament would sit in each province and territory on a rotation of 2 weeks each.
For the last 2 years everyone has been working from home, so who cares if your office is 2 or 2000 miles away. In the last 2 years we’ve seen that government could be cut massively, now is the time.
Move whatever the biggest ministry is to Nunavut, not saying there is anything wrong with Nunavut….Just sayin.
There is a settlement on Victoria Island in Nunavut. Transfer the Department HQ there.
The feds have the responsibility for National defense, justice, Inter provincial transportation and revenue. Should only be four ministries. Everybody connected to the others top to bottom, gone. The remaining departments would get better at what they do, and government would be cheaper and out of your face. win-win-lose, the losers were all offended by the convoy, best part.
I’m with you.
Not sure if to call it the Great Reset or Build Back Better – that way the left has already bought in!
Smile.
This weekend my nephews’ kids will be playing cops and truckers in snow forts and tunnels they are building in the snow.
Play imitates life. Except the truckers will have airsoft guns, just like the cops.
I wonder if there is a way to save the map
