Cabinet had to follow “due process” before firing suspected Chinese spies working at the National Microbiology Laboratory, says Health Minister Mark Holland. Scientists with links to the People’s Liberation Army came under surveillance in August 2018 but remained on the job until July 2019: “Do you think they were eminent scientists or eminent spies?”
Modern Medicine?
In this intriguing interview, Dr. John Campbell interviews Australian immunologist Dr. Robert Clancy about another drug that was slammed as ineffective and dangerous when used for the treatment of Covid: hydroxychloroquine. As with so many other pandemic measures, it seems to have fallen prey to the politicization of medicine.

What a COVID-19 Food Fight Says About Scientific Discourse
I first wrote a version of this post almost three years ago when I learned that I was blocked on Twitter by some prominent virologists soon after I called for an independent investigation of COVID-19 origins. Since then, I have observed public discussions of COVID-19 origins among virologists continue to devolve into ever-greater depths of name calling, juvenile insults, and more troublingly, efforts to damage careers and reputations.
Of course, I’ve seen this all before up close and personal in public discussions of climate, and as you might guess, I have some thoughts.

The Trudeau Panic was real: Canadian spy suspect Qiu led WIV’s “synthetic bat filovirus” project with Wuhan Institute’s Vice-Director
While working for Canada and surreptitiously transferring lethal virus samples to China, Xiangguo Qiu was enlisted to lead Wuhan Institute of Virology’s synthetic bat filovirus project with the institute’s Vice-Director, a senior Chinese scientist that worked in 2015 on a controversial United States “hybrid version of a bat coronavirus.”
This explosive evidence — yet to be reported from hundreds of redacted documents released this week by Canada’s government — suggests that Xiangguo Qiu was likely working directly with the Chinese virologist at the centre of the Covid-19 Wuhan lab-leak theory, Dr. Shi Zhengli.
Dr. Shi — known as the “bat woman” for her bat vaccine studies in China — is reportedly a deputy-director for the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV.)
While no government has concluded Covid-19 emanated from WIV, last year a number of Western intelligence agencies including the FBI told the public they do believe the most likely cause of the deadly pandemic was that Chinese scientists were working with bat viruses that leaked into Wuhan’s population in 2019.
This controversial assessment is far from unanimous in Western intelligence.
But at least some CSIS investigators with awareness of the Xiangguo Qiu probe agree with the FBI assessment, a confidential intelligence source has informed The Bureau.
And now, the sensitive records disclosed by CSIS — which Prime Minister Justin Trudeau tried to suppress — potentially place Xiangguo Qiu at the scene of the crime with numerous international scientists involved in bat coronavirus studies.
And,
Regarding Individual 1, the redacted CSIS report says:
“In 2015, [WIV’s vice-director] was involved in Gain of Function experiments with US researchers as part of a study that created a hybrid version of a bat coronavirus; one related to the virus that caused Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS), which could jump directly from bats to humans.”

Two scientists at Canada’s high-security infectious disease laboratory – Xiangguo Qiu and her husband, Keding Cheng – provided confidential scientific information to China and were fired after a probe concluded she posed “a realistic and credible threat to Canada’s economic security” and it was discovered they engaged in clandestine meetings with Chinese officials, documents tabled in the House of Commons reveal.
Dr. Qiu, who worked at the National Microbiology Laboratory in Winnipeg, was dishonest when confronted with her actions, making “blanket denials” and “half-truths, and personally benefited from the arrangement,” the documents state, noting that she repeatedly lied to the Canadian Security Intelligence Service and “refused to admit to any involvement in various PRC [People’s Republic of China] programs.”
The two infectious-disease scientists were escorted out of the National Microbiology Laboratory in Winnipeg in July, 2019, and later had their security clearances revoked. They were fired in January, 2021. Their whereabouts are not known.
Xiangguo Qiu an Keding Cheng’s connections to China are outlined in detail in a CSIS security assessment from Jan. 8, 2021, marked secret.Governor General’s Innovation Awards; Excerpt from CSIS report
CSIS, in a Jan. 8, 2021, report marked secret, said its findings call “into question Ms. Qiu’s loyalty to Canada and her reliability as it relates to loyalty.”
[…]
Dr. Qiu and her husband had an undisclosed bank account in China’s Commercial Bank, the documents reveal, and she had conducted research connected to the People’s Liberation Army. CSIS said it found an unfinalized work agreement for a talent program with Hebei Medical University that stipulated she would be provided with funding worth the equivalent of $1.2-million Canadian between 2018 and 2022.
The agency said it found an application from her to the program that said she would work for China’s Wuhan Virology Institute for at least two months every year.
As part of her enrolment, CSIS said, Dr. Qiu committed to “building the People’s Republic of China’s biosecurity platform for new and potent infectious disease research.”
The CSIS investigation found Dr. Qiu led a project at Wuhan Virology Institute that would assess cross-species infection and pathogenic risks of filoviruses – work that the service said suggests “gain-of-function studies were possibly to take place.”

Reverse engineering the origins of SARS-CoV-2- SARS2 was patented by Ralph Baric in 2018
Also note the nearest known sample to SARS2 was RaTG13 at 4% different. But Baric had two bat viruses called “293” and “HK3,” that were ~2% closer to SARS2. Both of those samples were patented by Baric in 2018.
Let me repeat, Dr Ralph Baric of the University of North Carolina patented the SARS-CoV-2 genome in 2018!

Reason- Lab Leak Is Not a Conspiracy Theory, Anthony Fauci Concedes
In recent months, Fauci has denied he ever categorically rejected the possibility that COVID-19 accidentally escaped from a laboratory. But he faces very serious allegations that he deterred scientific experts from considering it.

Pandemic Industrial Complex – EcoHealth Alliance currently is receiving $50+ million in Department of Defense and NIH grants, despite having defrauded the Department of Defense, having double-billed NIH and USAID, and likely having caused a pandemic that killed 20 million and cost $25 trillion.
Related discussion on X: Virologists have some pretty strong disincentives to acknowledge the possibility that sloppy virological research killed 8++ million people.

A newly-uncovered trove of documents detailing plans to create a Covid-like virus in China months before the pandemic make the ‘lab leak almost certain’, experts say.
The records – obtained now by FOIA requests – lay out a plan to ‘engineer spike proteins’ to infect human cells that would then be ‘inserted into SARS-Covid backbones’ at the infamous Wuhan virology lab from December 2018.
Just a year later, in late 2019, the Covid-19 virus emerged with a uniquely adept ability to infect humans, going on to cause a global pandemic.
The proposal was made by the now-notorious EcoHealth Alliance, a New York nonprofit that channels US government grants abroad to fund these types of experiments.
Ultimately, the application was denied by the US Department of Defense, but critics say the plans laid out in the proposal serve as a ‘blueprint’ for how to create Covid.
…another interesting document showing that US scientists were involved as early as 2015 in the insertion of spikes into bat coronaviruses

And, in a few months the lie will be completely forgotten and the narrative will shift to “Of course it was a lab leak, you crackpot. We never denied that possibility.”*
The UK minister highlighted the virus’s “novel” nature in explaining London’s difficulties combating the pandemic, saying “We were not as well prepared as we should have been ideally, that is true. Again, it’s in the nature of the fact that the virus was novel.”
“And indeed, though I think this probably goes beyond the remit of the inquiry, there is a significant body of judgment that believes that the virus itself was man made — and that presents its own set of challenges as well,” he continued.

The health official who conspired with Anthony Fauci to downplay suggestions Covid-19 leaked from a Wuhan laboratory has revealed he lies awake at night agonising about the chain of events they set in motion.
The former Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response at the US Department of Health, Dr Robert Kadlec, has told Sky News he feels obligated to reveal confidential discussions he had with Dr Fauci, America’s top infectious diseases adviser, about diverting attention away from the lab leak theory.
In his first television interview, to air on Sky News on Tuesday night, he also warns of another pandemic emerging from high-risk experiments in laboratories globally, saying the lessons from Covid-19 haven’t been learnt.

You can add this fiasco to the Arrive Can file.
…the press secretary for Health Minister Mark Holland, Chris Aoun, said the government made a $150 million non-refundable advance payment to Quebec-based Medicago early in the pandemic to fund development and reserve a number of doses of its eventual COVID-19 vaccine.
Then in February, the company’s owner Mitsubishi Chemical Group announced it was shutting the company down in light of “significant changes” to the vaccine market three years into the pandemic.
Aoun said that Medicago met all the terms for the $150 million non-refundable advance payment but that the contract was eventually terminated “by mutual consent” and that “Medicago was released of its obligations” in the advance contract.
“Deception”
“Everything that Anthony Fauci and his cohorts, these other virologists were saying publicly, they were saying the opposite privately,” Paul said. “Then it turns out that many of the people that were appointed to be part of this all had quiet interests that they weren’t willing to reveal. Including Anthony Fauci. When I asked him directly under oath whether or not he was receiving royalties from any of the companies manufacturing vaccines, he refused to answer. When I asked him whether anybody on the committee was receiving royalties he lashed out and accused me of something but would never answer the question.”

Architect of the biggest cya operation in modern history.
Last month, Committee Chair Brad Wenstrup made headlines when he revealed that seven CIA analysts “with significant scientific expertise” on the agency’s COVID-19 Discovery Team (CDT) received performance bonuses after changing a report to downplay concerns about a possible lab origin of the virus.
Now, a months-long investigation by Racket and Public, which included interviews with the CIA whistleblower behind last month’s revelations and others in a position to know, reveals that Fauci not only visited the CIA but also pushed the controversial “Proximal Origin of SARS CoV-2” paper, published by Nature Medicine, in meetings at the State Department and the White House.
Previous reporting already showed that Fauci “prompted” the “Proximal Origin” paper, according to its authors. Lead author Kristian Andersen expressed grave doubts about the natural origin theory even months after Nature Medicine published the paper. And they described themselves as pressured by “higher ups,” referring to individuals in the White House and other government agencies.
Now, the new information from multiple sources, including a CIA whistleblower, a senior government investigator, and a senior official, suggests a broad effort by Fauci to go agency by agency, from the White House to the State Department to the CIA, in an effort to steer government officials away from looking into the possibility that COVID-19 escaped from a lab.
“Fauci’s expert opinions were a significant consideration and were part of our classified assessment,” said the CIA whistleblower, a decorated and long-serving CIA officer with expertise in Asia. “His opinion substantially altered the conclusions that were subsequently drawn.”
Fauci had reasons to push scientists and intelligence analysts to believe the virus had a zoonotic origin since his agency had issued a grant to fund research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV) in China.
Wuhan Flu: The Long Cold Science
Shocking, I know: In a bold new paper, three academics criticize how #longCovid has been studied. They say the term itself is so ill defined it should be discarded and that the studies have often been riddled with bias.
This is one of the most stunning examples, if not the most egregious example, of someone with a doctorate exaggerating the threat of #longCovid and sowing fear and panic.

The one-legged stool
“I don’t think the world is properly prepared for what this could look like…. I mean [the] immune system gets destroyed bit by bit the more shots you take….your immune system is like an army with multiple facets… [it] has an Air Force it has a Navy it has the army on the ground it has the Marines it has the paratroopers and what I think we’re seeing is that you are putting all of your resources into only one group: your army…. it’s kind of like building up your paratroopers numbers so that they’re in the millions and you’re not spending any money on your Navy or your Air Force and then what happens is that you are not prepared for different kinds of enemies….so it’s not that the immune system is weaker I just think that the immune system has been focused in a way that makes it difficult to be able to neutralize… what we’re seeing…”

One Flu Out Of The Wuhan Nest
BREAKING: A whistleblower has come forward alleging the CIA offered officials a significant amount of money to say that COVID did *not* come out of the lab in Wuhan.
“The Select Committee on the Coronavirus Pandemic and the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence have received new and concerning whistleblower testimony regarding the Agency’s investigation into the origins of COVID-19,” a letter to CIA Director William Burns said from House COVID Subcommittee Chairman Brad Wenstrup & House Intelligence Committee Chairman Mike Turner.
“According to the whistleblower, at the end of its review, six of the seven members of the Team believed that intelligence and science were sufficient to make a low confidence assessment that COVID-19 originated from a laboratory in Wuhan, China,” the letter continued.
“The seventh member of the Team, who also happened to be the most senior, was the one officer to believe COVID-19 originated through zoonosis.”
“The whistleblower further contends that to come to the eventual public determination of uncertainty, the other six members were given a significant monetary incentive to change their position.”
The conspiracy theorists were right again.
