Blacklock’s- Bill OKs Police To Open Mail

Police would gain new powers to intercept mail in transit under a bill introduced yesterday by Public Safety Minister Gary Anandasangaree. The bill repeals privacy protections at the post office that date from Confederation.

Currently police must track suspicious letters and packages to delivery, a requirement that’s seen RCMP pose as mail carriers and courier drivers in sting operations, according to evidence filed in the Ontario Court of Appeal.

When The FBI Does It, That Means That It’s Not Illegal

Latest FBI Revelations Show The Mueller Special Counsel Was A Cover-Up, And Much More

Last Wednesday, Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, released a recently declassified FBI “Electronic Communication,” or EC, dating from September 2019, which the Iowa Republican maintains “Proves Fusion GPS Contractor Nellie Ohr Lied To Congress About Contributions To Crossfire Hurricane.” That 43-page document, drafted by a FBI Washington Field Office agent, detailed extensive evidence indicating Nellie Ohr lied multiple times during her congressional testimony concerning the Crossfire Hurricane investigation into the Trump campaign.

The catalogue of evidence against Nellie Ohr, who is married to Bruce Ohr — one of the key FBI Russia-collusion hoaxers — raises the question of why the DOJ never pursued criminal charges against the Fusion GPS contractor. The EC also suggests that Nellie Ohr’s open-source research may have made its way into the Steele dossier and the fraudulent Alfa Bank materials provided to the FBI.

Those details, however, pale in comparison to two explosive facts the EC revealed by way of background. First, the EC explained the FBI’s Sentinel case management system allows investigative material to be coded “Prohibited Access,” which renders the files not merely inaccessible to other agents — but invisible to them. And second, Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s team designated the Trump/Russia-collusion investigations “Prohibited Access” in Sentinel, meaning any agents running keyword search in Sentinel would wrongly believe there were no responsive documents.

Emphasis mine. Read it all.

Well, that didn’t last long…

So much for Canada becoming an “energy superpower.” With additional pipelines to the west coast, the idea is dead in its tracks. Eby says he won’t be changing mind on another B.C. pipeline, rebuffing Ford

But but but – everyone was so happy about their confab with the new prime minister.

Premiers heap praise on meeting with Carney, but no specific projects identified.

And from the day before the meeting:

Carney discusses “partnerships” with oil and gas executives in Calgary

So much for team Canada. On CJME Tuesday morning Premier Moe said he was “done” with trying to get a pipeline built through Quebec.

And for something completely different:

You can’t hide these smiles. Lock and load

There’s more to the oilpatch than just work. You can’t hide these smiles. Lock and load

New Rules

Boom.

The wife and children of Boulder, Colorado, terrorism suspect Mohamed Soliman are in the custody of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement and the family is being processed for expedited removal, according to the Department of Homeland Security.

“We are investigating to what extent his family knew about this heinous attack, if they had knowledge of it, or if they provided support to it,” Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem said Tuesday. “I am continuing to pray for the victims of this attack and their families. Justice will be served.”

Soliman — who was arrested after allegedly throwing Molotov cocktails in an “act of terrorism” during a pro-Israel demonstration on Sunday — has been in the U.S. on an expired tourist visa, officials said.

Laura Loomer got the scoop.

Circling The Drain

The marginal home buyer can’t muster much of a bid these days, and who could blame him? When is this going to start hitting the balance sheets of lenders?

Vancouver home sales activity fell again in May as buyers continued to sit on the sidelines, the city’s real estate board said Tuesday.

Residential sales in the region totalled 2,228 last month, an 18.5 per cent drop from the same month a year earlier, Greater Vancouver Realtors said. Sales levels are 30.5 per cent below the 10-year seasonal average.

“This week, Secretary of State Marco Rubio stopped feeding the crocodile.”

Jonathan Turley;

On May 28, 2025, Rubio shocked many of our allies by issuing a new visa restriction policy that bars foreign nationals deemed “responsible for censorship of protected expression” in the U.S.

The new policy follows a major address by Vice President J.D. Vance in Munich challenging our European allies to end their systematic attacks on free speech. Vance declared, “If you are running in fear of your own voters, there is nothing America can do for you. Nor, for that matter, is there anything that you can do for the American people that elected me and elected President Trump.”

At the time, I called the speech “Churchillian” in drawing a bright line for the free world. Rubio’s action is no less impressive and even more impactful.

This Is CNN

Post Millennial;

CNN Chief National Security correspondent Alex Marquardt is leaving the outlet after eight years, after his reporting on Navy veteran Zachary Young cost CNN $5 million following a defamation suit. […]

Marquardt was at the center of a defamation case filed against CNN by Young, who in 2021 was working to evacuate Afghans during the Biden administration’s chaotic military withdrawal from that nation. Per the Daily Mail, Marquardt wrote to members of the team that worked on the November 2021 report, “We’re gonna nail this Zachary Young mf**ker.” The message was part of texts that were used against Marquardt in the case.

Marquardt’s report was aired on the Lead with Jake Tapper, the episode in which it premiered opened with Tapper claiming that Afghans attempting to flee the nation “face[d] a black market full of promises, demand of exorbitant fees and no guarantee of safety or success.” Tapper then cut to Marquardt, who claimed that an Afghan man located in the US had found people on Facebook charging $10,000 to evacuate people from Afghanistan.

He claimed that “desperate Afghans are now being exploited,” and used b-roll that featued a LinkedIn post from Young. Young had said during the trial that he never accepted money from those needing rescue, and that he had relied on corporate and NGO sponsorships to help.

Incompatible Pretending

Or, Witchcraft And Transgenderism, Together At Last:

As these are terribly modern, immensely caring witches, Ms Howard was banned from the organisation’s Facebook page and from the website of the British Druid Order on grounds of being “unequivocally transphobic.” Thereby denying Ms Howard access to the arcane knowledge of “seers and healers,” along with the opportunity to purchase oracle cards, audio recordings of spells and invocations, and “hymns to the divine feminine.” Oh, and guides to coping with stress by wrapping a thick blanket around your head.

Oh, there’s more.

Canada, Home of Cheap Talk

As if any projects like these would ever get greenlit.

Prime Minister Mark Carney, seeking to reduce Canada’s economic ties to the United States, on Monday met the heads of the 10 provinces as part of a push to slash the time needed to approve mining and energy projects.

Several Indigenous groups – who have a major say over natural resource development on their lands – say they will oppose any attempt to trim the approval process if it infringes on their rights.
