Salim Mansur’s new book, Delectable Lie: a liberal repudiation of multiculturalism, is extremely uncomfortable for Lefties to discuss. So much so, that very few book reviewers will go anywhere near it.
Yesterday Charles Adler had a superb discussion with Mansur. There was also a follow-up segment that featured this review by David Warren. If you’ve long thought there was something rather peculiar about treating all cultures equally, no matter how repugnant some other cultures might be, from these discussions you will gain much intellectual ammunition why.

Scramble their Brains (more likely Fire and Forget)
1. You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity by legislating the wealthy out of prosperity.
2. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving.
3. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else.
4. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it!
5. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that is the beginning of the end of any nation

On his program this morning, Dennis Prager discussed this appearance by Herman Cain on Sean Hannity’s TV show.
Prager pointed out that the Democrats have consistently been able to depend upon about 95% of the Black American vote. How have they been able to do this? [Mostly] White Democrats have been able to successfully convince generation after generation of Black Americans that they are permanent victims of a systemically racist America (aka Republicans) and need the Democrats to protect them. This is, of course, a lie but has been a proven strategy. If the Democrats were ever to lose this overwhelming support of Black America, and not replace it with another voting bloc, they would never again be able to win another election. So it’s absolutely critical to the survival of the current Democrat Party to say whatever is necessary to keep Black Americans brainwashed in this manner.
Is it not interesting to the curious mind how incredibly successful and prosperous the following ethnic groups have been in the United States: Chinese, Japanese, Koreans, Vietnamese, and Indians. Through hard work, saving, and education these groups have capitalized on all that the capitalist system in America has offered them.
Contrast this with the striking lack of prosperity of the majority of Black Americans. How is it that “widespread, institutionalized racism” hasn’t hurt all of the earlier groups mentioned but only affects one? Might it be that the real explanation is far different from what Democrat politicians and their echo-chamber sycophants have been proffering?
Democrat infested Detroit provides a stellar example of what’s really wrong in America.
In the weeks & months ahead, when you see Herman Cain disparaged by the Left, including mainstream media “journalists” in the pocket of the Obama administration, you will better understand why Cain is such an incredible threat to them. It’s not just about losing in November 2012, it’s about losing it all. Permanently.
