6. Funny, the media has treated the Climategate files as a non issue – the CBC and MSM took fully 12 days to report Climategate 1 after it broke, and CG 2 is being almost as assiduously ignored.
   But yet here we have an internationally coordinated attempt to find the leaker (one would assume).
   Looking forward to reading another Mike DeSouza peice on the dying polar bears in the Post media publications tomorrow.
   I sure know I won’t be reading about this.

16. Lets see now: Climategate2.0 emails appear on a Russian server and people start to download them. Obviously a newsworthy item so the natural response is to repost the file on ones own server. UK police carefully monitor non-Russian sources of the Climategate 2.0 emails and seize the computers of the first person to repost them. That’s the equivalent of arresting the first person to call the police about a bank robbery for the robbery. I don’t think Kafka could have written anything as bizarre as this Climategate sequel.
    Curious how the British police have no interest in pursuing the Russian origin of the new emails. Britain has now become officially insane. I realize that DSM IV categories don’t apply to societies and it’s a tough call of whether one should use an Axis I psychosis diagnosis or an Axis III disorder such as Alzheimer’s.
    What would be interesting to know is how many former carboncredit millionaires in Britain are in government positions of power where they can get the police to do their bidding. The CO2 house of cards is starting to collapse and things are going to get ugly in those parts of the world where the population has been disarmed.

    This telegraphs that the identity of the email leaker (not hacker) is unknown, and they are clueless.
    We’re now 2 for 2 on these climate scam meetings, with another load of damaging emails in the breach.
    Once upon a time, The People used to trust leaders, institutions, and media. “Awakening” is the realization that this trust is misplaced. In each of these three columns, trust is mortally wounded.
    Trust is very fragile. Once damaged, the repair is a long and delicate process.
    These raids demonstrate that the response of these three columns to the erosion of trust is authoritarian, blunt, and hamfisted. A classic positive feedback system.
    None of this will end well. That’s why I am stocking up on helmets.

    Hot damn, dwright. I’ve been thinking exactly this lately. A couple days back I read at Casey Research an excerpt from a book in the late 1930s by a German writer explaining how totaltarianism crept in gradually, incrementally.
    We’ve all heard the standard and now cliche question: how could the land of Bach Beethoven and Brahms have installed a Nazi regime?
    And I had an epiphany: awareness of Godwin’s Law, and the fervent wish not to be ridiculed for demonstrating it, actually keeps us from recognizing and responding to creeping totalitarianism.
    You are right: The Nazis are indeed here. Damn the censor Godwin whoever he is! (Is he a liberal?)
