The Decline And Fall Of The American Empire
The Saudis and Russians made a big discovery after the fall of the Soviet Union: that you couldn’t beat the United States the country, but you could corrupt American politicians for what amounted, in their world, to chump change. You could spent a billion dollars on some useless piece of Soviet military junk, or you could spend on a junket. The junket was more effective.
Once they had blazed the trail, the Chinese followed. This system of international “cooperation” was called the “Rule Based International Order”. The Saudis and Russians killed the nuclear power future to prop up oil prices. This was called “Environmentalism”. Then the Wahabi lobby decided to invade the West. This was called “Multiculturalism”.
It rattled along swimmingly until the wheels fell off the wagon and the curtain went up with everyone’s britches down. This was called “2016”.
Y2Kyoto: Green Police Setback
Via WUWT;
In yet another stunning blow to the #ExxonKnew campaign, a federal judge today issued a discovery order against Massachusetts Attorney General Maura Healey to determine whether “bias or prejudgment” influenced her decision to initiate a “bad faith” investigation into ExxonMobil, just days after she appeared before news cameras with New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman, Al Gore and other Democratic state attorneys general in New York.
As the Washington Post reported this afternoon, this “new discovery order could open the door for an intrusive examination of Maura Healey ‘s internal phone records, other communications and depositions,” shedding light on the extent to which Healey, Schneiderman and others have conspired with outside activists, plaintiff attorneys and partisan political interests to carry out their failed #ExxonKnew campaign.

It’s Probably Nothing
The Toronto Star: A 33 per cent drop in Vancouver home sales in September from a year ago signals North America’s once-hottest real estate market — where the average home was appreciating by more than $1,000 a day — has reached a tipping point.

Blog Notes
I’m back from our annual trek to Montgomery County Kennel Club near Blue Bell, PA, and still catching up on both the news and my energy levels.

We did well, with all the dogs we showed consistently in the ribbons. The weekend highlights: Homebred AmCh.Destineez Wild Blue Yonder was Best of Breed at Hatboro and Best of Opposite Sex at the National Specialty, while his brother AmCanGrandCh.Minuteman Justified (pictured above) took two awards of merit and Select Dog at the National Specialty on Sunday.
I’ll post more photos a I find them, and blogging should be ramping back up to near normal levels by tomorrow. Thanks for your patience with this canine obsession that takes me away so frequently, and to Lance et al for holding down the fort!

Multiple sources connected with NBC tell us … top network execs knew about the video long before they publicly said they did, but wanted to hold it because it was too early in the election. The sources say many NBC execs have open disdain for Trump and their plan was to roll out the tape 48 hours before the debate so it would dominate the news cycle leading up to the face-off.
Breaking all the Rules
Rasmussen has Trump up by 2.
The latest Rasmussen Reports White House Watch national telephone and online survey shows Trump with 43% support among Likely U.S. Voters to Clinton’s 41%. Yesterday, Clinton still held a four-point 43% to 39% lead over Trump, but that was down from five points on Tuesday and her biggest lead ever of seven points on Monday.

Early this morning local time, the U.S. military struck three radar sites in Houthi-controlled territory on Yemen’s Red Sea coast. Initial assessments show the sites were destroyed.
The Pentagon didn’t add if they had hit any funerals on the way.

FBI, DOJ roiled by Comey, Lynch decision to let Clinton slide by on emails, says insider.
“It is safe to say the vast majority felt she should be prosecuted,” the senior FBI official told Fox News. “We were floored while listening to the FBI briefing because Comey laid it all out, and then said ‘but we are doing nothing,’ which made no sense to us.”

I Did Not have Sexual Relations….
I had no access to any questions.
It’s always deny, deny, deny with Democrats. Soon the media apparatchiks will be smirking and belittling their guests who talk about this cheating with something like, “the third word of the second sentence is completely different than the question so you can’t say the question was forwarded to Clinton”.

Patching machines is a tough enough challenge for busy IT Departments the chances of the home consumer doing it are nearly nil, we already know this because of the millions of home routers that have never been patched. On top of that the profit margins on these products are so small the companies that manufacture them will have almost no incentive to create patches for identified security holes.
This is going to be a disaster.

The federal government investing in aerospace giant Bombardier is not a matter of if but how, Innovation Minister Navdeep Bains said Tuesday.
“We want to be a partner,” Bains said after announcing up to $54 million in funds for a Bombardier-led aerospace-research consortium.
