They’ll show you the crimes.

Special Counsel Jack Smith hunted information on X users who liked or retweeted posts published by former President Donald Trump, according to redacted search warrants and other documents released Monday.

According to the heavily redacted document issued to then-Twitter in January, the court ordered the social media giant to forfeit a bevy of information regarding Trump’s account, including “advertising information, including advertising IDs, ad activity, and ad topic preferences,” as well as IP addresses “used to create, login, and use the account” and privacy and account settings. […]

Smith and his team went even further, seeking to acquire data on Twitter users who engaged with Trump’s tweets in the months leading up to Jan. 6, 2021. This included “all lists of Twitter users who have favorited or retweeted tweets posted by [Trump], as well as all tweets that include the username associated with [Trump’s account] (i.e. ‘mentions’ or ‘replies’).

Earthquake In Argentina

Reuters;

Argentina elected libertarian outsider Javier Milei as its new president on Sunday, rolling the dice on an outsider with radical views to fix an economy battered by triple-digit inflation, a looming recession and rising poverty.

Official results have not been released, but his rival, Peronist Economy Minister Sergio Massa, conceded in a speech. His candidacy was hampered by the country’s worst economic crisis in two decades while he has been at the helm.

Milei is pledging economic shock therapy. His plans include shutting the central bank, ditching the peso, and slashing spending, potentially painful reforms that resonated with voters angry at the economic malaise, but sparked fears of austerity in others.[…]

Milei is also staunchly anti-abortion, favors looser gun laws and has called Argentine Pope Francis a socialist “son of a bitch”. He used to carry a chainsaw in a symbol of his planned cuts but shelved it in recent weeks to help boost his moderate image.

Whatsisname’s Britain – Bumped For More Chewy Diversity Goodness!

Where the foxes caper unmolested, the government packs your school lunch and Bobbies bar native born British “right wing thugs” from reaching the Cenotaph on Remembrance Day.

Or, they attempted to.

Tense scenes in central London as police clash with people trying to get near the Cenotaph war memorial for Remembrance Day/Veterans Day. They eventually get through and it becomes calm.

Five weeks of pro-Hamas protest is just healthy diversity.

DIVERSITY UPDATE: Pro-Palestine mob deface WWI memorial and scale buildings as police lose control

A pro-Palestine mob have defaced a World War 1 memorial and scaled buildings in Central London as police lose control of the march.

Footage and photos from the scene show a World War 1 memorial covered in signs with a “Free Palestine” placard attached to the statue of the soldier.

Other memorials were targeted too. Taking to X, GB News contributor Darren Grimes said: “Pro-Palestine yobs drape our war memorials in foreign flags, desecrating the Machine Gun Corps Memorial at Wellington Arch. Where are the police?”

Close by two pro-Palestine protesters scaled a building only to be met by security on the level they decided to leave at.

Their actions come as police lose control of the protest which has seen over 100,000 people march through Central London on Armistice Day.

@RaheemKassamMuslims are terrorising the streets of central London tonight. No one is stopping them. Britain is on the cusp of recognising the importance of America’s Second Amendment.

Y2Kyoto: State Of Anorexia Envirosa

If a frog is put suddenly into freezing water, it will jump out, but if the frog is put in tepid water which is then cooled slowly, it will not perceive the danger and will be frozen to death.

In 2019, then-President Donald Trump mocked the idea of powering our society on unreliable wind and solar power by joking, “Darling? Darling? Is the wind blowing today? I’d like to watch television.”

Now, wind and solar advocacy groups are advocating for this exact policy, but instead of being honest with the public about their desire to curb your electricity use when the wind isn’t blowing or the sun isn’t shining, they use innocuous-sounding words like “demand response” and “load flexibility” to hide their true intentions from ordinary people.

For example, Fresh Energy, a wind and solar special interest group located in Minnesota, says the grid of the future will need to be balanced not by building enough reliable peaking power plants to make sure the lights stay on but by charging people more to disincentivize them from using power during times of peak demand and otherwise controlling or rationing power to keep wide scale blackouts from occurring.

Don’t expect sanity to intervene in Minnesota any time soon.

Rise Of The Deplorables

Populist right tops Swiss elections

The SVP’s election campaign focused on its favourite theme: the fight against “mass immigration” and the prospect of the Swiss population reaching 10 million.

Its “New normal?” social media adverts, spotlighting criminal cases perpetrated by foreigners, plunged into a world of bloodied knives, hooded criminals, fists, bruised faces and frightened women.

It also launched a war on “cancel culture” and what it calls “gender terror and woke madness”.

“The situation in Switzerland is serious: we have mass immigration, we have big problems with people seeking asylum. The security situation is no longer the same as before,” Thomas Aeschi, head of the SVP parliamentary group, told AFP.

“There are many people in Switzerland who fear the situation will get worse.”

The SVP — which is strongly anti-EU — fiercely defends Switzerland’s long-standing military neutrality and feels Bern pushed the principle too far by matching EU sanctions on Russia over its war in Ukraine.

Aeschi said the SVP “wants good relations with the European Union but what we don’t want is an agreement where Switzerland must do what the EU says”.

Those dirty Russians!

If It Looks Like A Rail And Smells Like Rail

It’s a railroad, Ma’am.

Hope that the trial of two Freedom Convoy organizers would last only four weeks may be dashed after the defence raised complaints about receiving heaps of new evidence three days after the trial began.

Justice Heather Perkins-McVey told the court there is a potential risk for the trial to go “off the rails,” if it continues to evolve in the way it has been going. She used the day of court time on Friday to try to “crystallize the evidence” for the remainder of the trial.

Before that, there was a sense of tension in the courtroom as Crown and defence lawyers sparred over the timing of the delivery of binders full of text messages.

The justice called a short recess to step away from the bench to “settle” herself after telling the lawyers she was “very unhappy” about the late-stage disclosure.

“This should have been done well before the trial,” she chided before leaving the courtroom.

He Admires Their Basic Dictatorship

National Post;

“We do not expect this to be the trial of the Freedom Convoy,” Lich and Barber’s lawyers said in a joint statement Friday.

“The central issue will be whether the actions of two of the organizers of a peaceful protest should warrant criminal sanction.”

Lich told a federal inquiry last year that when she told supporters to “hold the line,” she wasn’t encouraging them to stay in the capital, but rather to “stay true to your values in the face of adversity.”

The trial is expected to last at least 16 days, and is likely to include hundreds of social media posts by Lich, Barber and others, including videos that were livestreamed throughout the protest. Organizers used the live videos to document their experience and share thoughts and updates to supporters.

The court will likely also consider Barber’s private text messages with Lich, which were obtained by Ottawa police and entered as evidence by the Crown during one of Lich’s bail hearings last year. There is a publication ban on any messages regarding anyone other than Lich and Barber.

Because there’s always a publication ban.

Your Moral And Intellectual Superiors

Don Surber;

I was not going to write about Oliver Anthony’s brilliant song, Rich Men North of Richmond, because I have nothing worthy to add. The video puts all other commentary to shame. North of Richmond refers to the federal government, which is too large, too powerful and too uncaring.

But Mark Antonio Wright, executive editor of the Never Trump National Review, butted in with a Learn-to-Code column attacking Anthony for daring to complain about DC’s treatment of the working class. It lectured Anthony to be more like Woody Guthrie, the Nazi apologist and communist.

Anthony’s song says:

I’ve been sellin’ my soul, workin’ all day
Overtime hours for bullshit pay
So I can sit out here and waste my life away
Drag back home and drown my troubles away

Wright responded, “My brother in Christ, you live in the United States of America in 2023 — if you’re a fit, able-bodied man, and you’re working ‘overtime hours for bullshit pay,’ you need to find a new job.”

Get a job?
