    as such my conscience is pristine clear and unsullied. lm just here for entertainment purposes.
    it ISNT going to get better, they now have another THREE YEAR PLUS to drive more stakes into the heart of the post national state. and they WILL. oh watch the fanciful clever new ways they do it. and throw in a cpl byelection wins to ‘send a message’ and ‘send’ the gloating off the chart anew.
    this is assuredly NOT the Canaduh l grew up in, could afford my 1st home in 78 @ 27 yrs age. (ya, no kidding)

      1. It’s not impossible, UnMe was evidently a role being played and Fenris is good at roles. Someone might know and could confirm, if we needed to know, but I don’t. Effectively constituting the Fenris Fanclub as I do, I’m willing to put up with it.

  3. Since 2015 the Lieberals deliberately and purposely made life worse. What did Kanadians do? Why they just chanted “Elbows Up!”, did the chicken dance thingy and re-elected the Lieberals. The average Kanadian is too mentally retarded to connect the dots.

    1. MikeT, having watch Cdn politics since early 60s, l can say *you do not know* just how sadly true what you said.
      meanwhile *I* can say l CANNOT explain WHY Canaduhians are so damnedably BLIND to what THEY are party (pun intended) to in this ‘twilight zone’ level of high school pep rally level of fondness for the likes of j turdeau and now carney bent on demolishing our std of living ‘6 ways to sunday’. now they have another 3 ungodly more years to burn it down.
      l fancy myself as very analytical about a lot of stuff (l figured out the ‘c’ part of E=Mc2 ‘speed of light’ MYSELF, ie ‘what kind of energy’) but this dick sucking behaviour is one of THE most inexplicable things l have ever encountered in 60 years of observing and, studying Cdn politics over a period of 25 of those years.
      and it will only get worse as many of recent events brought up here at SDA demonstrate.
      a whole godforsaken ‘post national state’ suffering some sort of stockholm syndrome. gawd gawd gawd help me l just . . . . dont . . . . understand it, one . . . . . smattering . . . . . . . bit.

      1. I believe Canadians keep voting Liberal for three main reasons. First, a great many Canadians pay very little attention to political news and events. How many times have you made a political comment to somebody and they tell you that they don’t watch the news anymore since it’s “so depressing”? The truth is often negative or depressing so they tune it out. People like us commenting here pay attention…most others do not. Secondly, the Liberals realized my first point was true about 20 years ago so they changed their approach to get as many votes as possible. They started to tell people what they wanted to hear instead of the dirty and depressing truth. Poilievre gets told he is mean and negative for telling the truth about the state of the government and Canada. Then the Liberals started subsidizing the media to buy there support. The only critical news sources left are Rebel News, Juno News, The Western Standard, and a few YouTube independents. The liberals are introducing bills to control speech on the internet to quell those voices. Lastly, there are a great number of Canadians who rely desperately on government social assistance programs so they are terrified of any austerity that may reduce those programs. They know that Liberals spend excessively and Conservatives try to be more responsible with money so they vote Liberal. One way this situation could improve is if it becomes illegal for any government to support news media sources in any way. Other than that we’re mostly screwed. The Liberals are setting themselves up to never lose an election again.

    2. A lot are mentally retarded, but a lot just refuse to see or acknowledge the evidence because it would shatter their long-held beliefs.

      Many of those that do see the decline just rationalize it away by saying something like “it’s just temporary” or “it’s not as bad as portrayed” or “it’s Trump’s fault”.

      Worst of all are those with the undying faith that the government will set things right.
