Professor Wax has been mentioned here once or twice before. Generally regarding her observations of everyday phenomena that are seemingly unmentionable, at least on campus, and the performative indignation and outright hysteria that reliably ensues. As when students, supposedly adult intellectuals, claimed that the professor’s mere presence on campus was “physically and emotionally harming all of us,” with the law school’s Dean, Theodore Ruger, invoking the “lasting trauma” of hearing her speak.

On questions that mustn’t be asked, and things that mustn’t be said, among fearless intellectuals.

This is the moment a male coach claims to be a woman and smashes the female bench press record at a powerlifting competition in Canada.

Bearded Avi Silverberg is shown calmly approaching the bench in men’s clothing as part of a protest against gender self-identification policies in sport.

Silverberg then unofficially breaks the female bench press record for the 84+ kilograms women’s category, which was a 270lbs press – officially set by a trans lifter.

The City of Calgary is conducting an on-line survey as part of its Anti-Racism program, to gather “recommendations that address and remove systemic racism for indigenous, black and diverse racialized communities in Calgary,” says the city on its website.

“The focus of this work is on people-based public safety; making sure that all who live, work, and visit Calgary can access and enjoy public spaces free of harassment and discrimination.”

But, if you’re white, you are not allowed to participate in the survey.

If I’m reading this correctly, Elon Musk is actually using the current hatred towards him to identify/trap the bots & spammers. It’s as if he has setup an entire focused technical team to improve their software, counting on the usual suspects to act … like themselves. And most on Twitter probably don’t even get how their own unbridled hatred is being used against them. It’s a digital version of the ultimate wasp trap!
