University booster mandates are unethical because they: (1) are not based on an updated (Omicron era) stratified risk-benefit assessment for this age group; (2) may result in a net harm to healthy young adults; (3) are not proportionate: expected harms are not outweighed by public health benefits given modest and transient effectiveness of vaccines against transmission; (4) violate the reciprocity principle because serious vaccine-related harms are not reliably compensated due to gaps in vaccine injury schemes; and (5) may result in wider social harms.

A group of German scientists released the research as a preprint in July, but it attracted little notice until Science Immunology formally published it on Dec. 22. It is not clear if the new interest comes because the paper has passed peer review or because Covid’s continued surge is troubling researchers.
Like many other scientists, the German researchers measured anti-spike-protein antibodies that people produce after Covid vaccination. Both mRNA and DNA jabs cause the body’s cells to produce spike proteins like those on the surface of the coronavirus.
Those proteins then cause the immune system to make antibodies – Y-shaped proteins which attach to pieces of the spikes. In the case of a real coronavirus infection, the vaccine-generated antibodies stick to the surface spikes on the coronavirus and keep it from attaching to our cells.
Confirming hundreds of similar studies, the German researchers found that levels of a crucial antibody called Immunoglobulin G, or IgG, rose dramatically after the second and third mRNA doses. Those increased antibodies have been the triumph of the mRNA vaccines.
Then the German scientists took a step other researchers had not.

Doctors are now unable to give opinions that depart from government health advice without risking de-registration. Pandemic laws born as bastard sons of parliaments suspended under state of emergency powers are now legitimised as permanent statutes, requiring only a declaration to bring them all into force once again. Digital ID’s are now compulsory for all company directors, including Mums and Dads who happen to be directors of their own superannuation funds. Ordinary citizens are surely next.

At Twitter, Covid-related bias bent heavily toward establishment dogmas. Inevitably, dissident yet legitimate content was labeled as misinformation, and the accounts of doctors and others were suspended both for tweeting opinions and demonstrably true information.
When the Biden administration took over, its agenda for the American people can be summed up as: Be very afraid of Covid and do exactly what we say to stay safe.
In July 2021, then-U.S. Surgeon General Vivek Murthy released a 22-page advisory concerning what the World Health Organization referred to as an “infodemic,” and called on social media platforms to do more to shut down “misformation.”
“We are asking them to step up,” Murthy said. “We can’t wait longer for them to take aggressive action.”
That’s the message the White House had already taken directly to Twitter executives in private channels. One of the Biden administration’s first meeting requests was about Covid, with a focus on “anti-vaxxer accounts,” according to a meeting summary by Lauren Culbertson, Twitter’s Head of U.S. Public Policy.
They were especially concerned about Alex Berenson, a journalist skeptical of lockdowns and mRNA vaccines, who had hundreds of thousands of followers on the platform […]
By the summer of 2021, the day after Murthy’s memo, Biden announced publicly that social media companies were “killing people” by allowing misinformation about vaccines. Just hours later, Twitter locked Berenson out of his account, and then permanently suspended him the next month. Berenson sued Twitter. He ultimately settled with the company, and is now back on the platform. As part of the lawsuit, Twitter was compelled to provide certain internal communications. They revealed that the White House had directly met with Twitter employees and pressured them to take action on Berenson.
The summary of meetings by Culbertson, emailed to colleagues in December 2022, adds new evidence of the White House’s pressure campaign, and illustrates how it tried to directly influence what content was allowed on Twitter.
Culbertson wrote that the Biden team was “very angry” that Twitter had not been more aggressive in deplatforming multiple accounts. They wanted Twitter to do more.
Twitter executives did not fully capitulate to the Biden team’s wishes. An extensive review of internal communications at the company revealed that employees often debated moderation cases in great detail, and with more care for free speech than was shown by the government.
But Twitter did suppress views—and not just those of journalists like Berenson. Many medical and public health professionals who expressed perspectives or even cited findings from accredited academic journals that conflicted with official positions were also targeted. As a result, legitimate findings and questions about our Covid policies and their consequences went missing.
There were three serious problems with Twitter’s process.

The Effect of the COVID-19 Vaccine on the Menstrual Cycle Among Reproductive-Aged Females in Saudi Arabia
Overall, the changes in the menstrual cycles after both COVID-19 vaccine doses were observed among 46.7%, mainly more menstrual pain in 22.9% following the first dose compared with 21.4% after the second. Menstrual changes were observed among almost two-thirds of women in the age groups 18-22 years (65.2%) and 38-45 years (65.4%) compared with only 43.5% of those in the age group 23-27 years, p<0.001. The Moderna vaccine was associated with the highest rate of menstrual changes (65.4%), whereas Oxford-AstraZeneca was associated with the lowest rate (44.9%), p=0.040. The duration of changes in the cycles after the COVID-19 vaccine (one dose or both) was less than one month among 42.5% of females, whereas it was three months or more among 27.1%.
Nobody knows why, but this is of no concern whatsoever.

Marsha Blackburn]. “I think it’s because Dr. Anthony Fauci purposefully evaded the 2014 ban on federal funding of gain of function research,” a scientific process in which a virus is made even more deadly so researchers can study it. This practice is banned in the United States for being too dangerous. “So, what [Fauci] did is he funded it in China, specifically at Wuhan Institute of Virology.”
“Eventually the American people will get the truth, but it could take years,” Chang said, pointing to efforts by the Biden administration to downplay American funding for the Wuhan Institute of Virology, the Chinese lab at the center of the COVID leak. The exact nature of America’s role in supporting this research still remains unclear, and Chang believes this is due to the Biden administration’s efforts to shield Fauci from criticism.
Fauci, Chang added, likely perjured himself before Congress when he claimed that his agency was not funding so-called gain of function research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology.
“So, either [Fauci] didn’t know what his institute was doing, or he committed perjury twice last year,” Chang said, referring to Fauci’s denial before the Senate that the NIH was engaged in funding gain of function research in China. “I’m of the view that he had to know what was going on for various reasons, and therefore, he did commit perjury. And the Department of Justice doesn’t seem to care.”

It took awhile but eventually Tim Robbins came to realize that something was awry with the Covid narrative.
On a personal note, I’ve done a lot of thinking recently about when I began to suspect that something was not right with what we were being told. A bellwether event for me was in early June 2020, when 1,288 Public Health “Professionals” signed their name to an open letter which argued that the George Floyd protests/riots were okay “because racism is itself a public-health issue that needs to be addressed“. More here. There were other events as well but this was a big one.
