Medical masks are meant to stop the launch of bacteria laden goo and greenies out of a doctor’s mouth or nose into an open wound. Other than that they do nothing.
The flu virus really is 1000X smaller than the holes in your N95 mask.. At best your blocked breathing will reduce your aerosol range.. A 25% maybe reduction on a sure thing? Today or tomorrow, you will get the flu..
All your doing (if anything) is pushing it off a day or two.. A week later the pump is primed and your getting the same numbers as if nobody were wearing masks at all.. A 25% maybe reduction is not a long term solution..
