About drug liberalization is the way it protects children from dealers in the school yard.
A Nanaimo mother is upset by what she found at a school-sanctioned event—drug use information cards.
Ruth Taylor says the cards were inappropriate for school-aged students.
The mom collected six of the cards while at a school pride event attended by her 10-year-old child on Tuesday.
“Always start on the lowest end and work your way up until you find your dose,” she read from a card, explaining how to use GHB (gamma hydroxybutyrate) which is also known as the date rape drug.
It was organized by the secondary schools’ Gay Straight Alliance clubs and sponsored by teacher volunteers.
