Two Memphis City Council members think the snow from Winter Storm Fern is man-made.
Council members Pearl Walker and Yolanda Cooper Sutton both publicly said the snow was artificial in differing Facebook posts and comments this week. Claims of fake snow have been rampant on social media during the storm, especially TikTok.
Cooper Sutton posted a video showing who she says is her husband attempting to melt a chunk of snow with a lighter.
Just ’cause you’re in office doesn’t mean you have the brain power to to create enough heat to melt the snowflakes falling on your head. A stupid politician is a stupid politician, whether federal, provincial (state) or municipal.

Lived in Memphis for 12 years. When it snows most folks just go with “God put it there and Good will take it away”. After emptying the grocery stores of milk and bread.
As to the fake snow, “You can’t fix stupid”.
Personally, I’m much more worried that, with all the illegal aliens, that Hawaii is going to tip over.

My experience with fake snow-
About 10 years ago they filmed a never released Charlize Theron movie in my neighborhood.
It was well below zero, but no snow. So they brought in a bunch of fake stuff. Covered a school bus and about 100ft of road in soapy/oily plastic flakes that turned into piles of white goo after a few days. No cleanup, just left to wash away.
She came out of a nice warm van, pretended to meet a kid at a bus stop, ten seconds, then went back inside. Never heard anything else about it.
