One room school houses (one good teacher, no administration) of the 1920s put out better educated individuals (three years earlier) than today’s child abuse factories of “professional” academia after a century of institutional capture by the Marxists and the eco-feminist left. Education is far too important to be left to the state. Universities are now feedlots for the guild socialism of the “professions” also now captured by cultural Marxism. Take away the state monopolies granted to the professions and the free market can empower the consumers rather than the monopolists. De-fund all public education and if any state (taxpayer) funding is considered necessary, fund the students/parents directly and they choose the venues, all with unregulated curricula. The French have a phrase for it, Laissez-faire.

Canada is now offering free dental care, exactly because we have a glut of dental professionals.. Turn key jobs that every politician loves..
