  1. People have pretty much fully controlled fertility since THE PILL. So…1950?

By 2000 fertility around the world was mostly a choice.

We’ll get a couple generations in which only people making the choice to breed will do so. 2100 is going to be filled with hardcore religious folks and very few libtards.

  2. I did my part, I would have had more, enough to field a team if possible.
We could have a hockey team, but I meant more like a baseball team.
The kids are great, the best thing ever.

“Here lies the father of 29, he would have had more but he didn’t have time”, etc…

    1. It’s falling rapidly there too.

Ironically, falling birth rates may be the pathway to African prosperity not the other way around.

Also their child mortality is much higher so a fertility rate above 2.1 isn’t necessarily above replacement.

      1. A falling birth rate doesn’t solve Africa’s prosperity problem, because as long as you don’t have strong property rights, you still end up with the same selfish problem

  3. Natural?
Or consequence of drugs and manufactured pandemics?
Given the hubris of our “Intellectual Superiors” a deliberate policy of population limitation is hard to not see.
Involuntary, because they know better than the masses.

  4. Ever since the idiotic book “The Population Bomb” came out I tried to find accurate articles on population growth. Since the 80’s and until recently I could only find one. It amazes me how humanity and especially liberals always get everything wrong. We don’t realize that we are living in the best of times. Our future generations are in for a rough time.

  5. Three reasons why people aren’t having children…

    1. kids are expensive and it’s a major lifestyle change for couples who are considering having a family

    2. women are being taught that a university degree and subsequent career will make them far happier than having a family

    3. people are migrating into the city, and who wants to raise children there?
