  1. As Kate and others have said, “No matter how much you hate the media…”
For them to insert the word “Suprise” into PP’s solid victory is simply vitriolic and small. They simply cannot help themselves. They cannot give full credit to any conservative without trying to get a dig in.
See also Rosie’s comments on “Yes, PP won a majority in this room. But will he be able to deal with Trump as well as Carney has on the world stage?”
News flash, Rosie…your hero has failed miserably on the Trump file. We now have a far worse relationship with Trump and the US as a whole than even a year ago. Making snide remarks among the elites at Davos does not help job prospects in Canada.
But, like this CTV article, they cannot help themselves. They must denigrate conservatives, even if it means inserting idiotic ideas like a “surprise win.” Really? Suprise to whom? Whether you like PP or not, this outcome should not have been a surprise. But then, that would imply a slight awareness of Reality, rather than a blind allegiance to Narrative.

  2. Yeah it’s quite obvious with CTV News, Global National and CBC. It’s absolutely disgusting what they do, on a daily basis. And it’s not just with PP and CPC, they do the same shameless crap with US issues as well, they’re all TDS stage 4.I guess it’s normal: what we see is the logical result of a 20 yrs (at least) process of Canadian media devolve into propaganda and slavery for all-ecoMarxist-WEF/EU-Laurentian elites.
Next stage I guess will be 2-minutes-of-hate like in Orwell’s 1984. And if you’re not properly hating enough and aligned ideologically on the correct issues, you’ll be deemed extreme-right/no-good to own anything nor have a bank account.

    1. I agree. Part of the problem might be CRTC oversight of the three networks. Conservative writers in Canada have yet to scrutinize the CRTC to look at why broadcast news is so one sided.

CTV news is appallingly awful. It’s one reason my wife and I cut the cable.

  3. Just like the CBC survey to determine which political party was best for you. No matter how you answered it came up with the same response.
Three guesses what it was. The first two guesses do not count.

  4. Why would the non-free press do anything but oppose a party that might cut them off the taxpayer teat? As long as this is the situation, there is no real democracy in Canada.

  5. Of course, No mention at CTV that the CPC fund raised almost 48 million in 2025.
This is the same CTV that stated Poilievre “survived” the Leadership vote with 87.4%
