Washington Examiner;

Republican Rep. Bill Cassidy trounced Sen. Mary Landrieu in Louisiana’s Senate runoff Saturday, picking up one last seat for Republicans in a 2014 midterm election season that saw commanding gains for the GOP.
When the Associated Press called the race, Cassidy led Landrieu by nearly 30 points with 1 percent of precincts reporting. Cassidy’s victory will give Republicans 54 seats in the Senate, with Democrats controlling 46.

Don’t Meet The Press

Excellent.

Boycott both NBC and ABC over failing to report on Gruber’s revelations and put CBS on final notice over the revelations that they coordinated with the Obama administration to tank Sharyl Attkisson’s Benghazi reporting. Network news is a dying religion becoming more ideologically rigid, forgoing any attempt to stay relevant in a media landscape that no longer needs them. Leave them behind. We’ve already shown that it works. Marginalize them and label them progressive news outlets and make them live by it. MSNBC came out of the progressive closet fully earlier this year and their ratings and web traffic got worse. Air America is no more and Current TV is now an unloved stepchild Al Gore gave away for oil money.
Reince Priebus threatened to boycott NBC and CNN over Hillary movies and documentaries aimed at paving the way toward her eventual coronation in 2016. It was a bold and refreshing action that loudly stated enough was enough.

Bill’s Wife

The coattail candidate is past her best-by date;

The carnage this year should demoralize Democrats, particularly Hillary Clinton, who has the misfortune of being the Democratic front runner for 2016. George McGovern and Fritz Mondale feel her pain.
Hillary Clinton was about as effective as Pat Nixon on the campaign trail. Her candidates lost 12 of the 13 tight Senate races she campaigned in. Even the Jacksonville Jaguars have a better winning record this year. She’s old and it shows. Her ideas have atrophied. She has been a fixture in Washington for 22 years, always caught in some controversy, always blaming others, always cackling. One reason Democratic Party bosses backed her opponent in the 2008 nomination process was that he was No Drama Obama.
She’s 67 and has had only one executive position in her life. And she blew that gig in Benghazi.
