Breaking: Senate Advances the Save Act

After many weeks of delay, debate, and unnecessary controversy, the U.S. Senate, as of Tuesday, has finally advanced vital election integrity legislation.

The Save America Act would require proof of citizenship and an ID to register to vote or to vote in federal elections, which ought not to be controversial at all but which made RINOs like John Thune and Thomas Massie dither with anxiety and which absolutely enraged Democrats. Donald Trump had sworn not to sign any more legislation until the Senate actually passes the Save Act, since the legislation is key in this midterm election year, so the next obvious step is for Republican senators to pass it.

@DC_Draino: And now you know why the FBI raided the Georgia election offices. Fulton County election NGOs openly admit on secret camera that Democrats are stuffing the ballot dropboxes with fake votes.

Embrace Hollywood!

“Democrats need to embrace Hollywood because this is where they need to come to learn how to tell a story.” – Michael Moore

I’ll admit, I missed big by predicting something “delightfully sordid.” Instead, we got something unpleasantly sordid: The final nail in the coffin for the Netflix bid [for Warner Bros] was almost certainly board member Susan Rice’s ill-timed appearance on a podcast hosted by Preet Bharara on February 20, where she promised “accountability” for Trump administration wrongdoers once the Democrats took office. This was interpreted by MAGA’s most agitated online voices as a promise of lawfare against the administration — the irony of complaining about this is apparently completely lost upon them — and led to Laura Loomer loudly demanding the former national security adviser resign her position on the board of Netflix.

Since Loomer has Trump’s ear, that meant that Trump himself began to instantly parrot Loomer’s line, demanding Rice resign from Netflix or “pay the consequences.” That put Netflix in an impossible position — they were not going to earn the eternal wrath of progressives by caving to Trump and firing Rice, not for a bid they were going to have extreme difficulty getting Trump’s approval on anyway. So they have bowed to the inevitable and cut their losses.

Reuters: FBI obtained Kash Patel and Susie Wiles phone records during Biden administration

Patel said he did not know the FBI’s purpose in seizing the phone records of him and Wiles, who became a top Trump adviser after he left office in 2021 and eventually co-campaign manager for his 2024 run against Biden. Patel also was a Trump political ally during this time. Patel said the collection of phone records extended into Wiles’ time as Trump’s co-campaign manager, though he did not say when exactly the record collection began or ended.

The FBI discovered the phone records in files categorized as “Prohibited,” which makes them difficult to discover on the bureau’s computer systems. Patel said he recently ended the FBI’s ability to categorize files as “Prohibited.”

State Of The Union

Meanwhile, at the main event: The NRCC (campaign arm for House Republicans) tells @FoxNews the visual of Democrats remaining seated & silent when President Trump asked Congress to stand for protecting Americans over illegal aliens was “a beautiful gift” & they will cut those images into campaign ads.

Trap set, and sprung.

Metaphor of the evening.

When The FBI Does It, That Means That It’s Not Illegal

Gateway Pundit;

Fox News on Friday obtained internal FBI emails proving that the Biden White House coordinated with the Justice Department to raid Mar-a-Lago.

Biden’s FBI raided Mar-a-Lago in 2022 and seized boxes of records from Trump’s Florida estate.

More than 3 dozen machine-gun-toting agents descended on Mar-a-Lago in August 2022, and by November, Biden’s DOJ appointed a special counsel to investigate the documents stored at the Florida residence.
