There is also the underlying issue of presidential pardons. Rather a sensitive issue for former Congreeman Jesse Jackson Jr who applied to President Autopen for a pardon. It’s a real shock, a 180° turn when you consider the success Democrats enjoyed politicizing MN Senator Wellman’s funeral 20+ years ago when they demanded then VP Cheney leave the memorial.
Who invited them? You invite progressive politicians to the funeral of a man who spent his life dealing in identity politics… What did you think was going to happen when you gave them a platform? Look at the stage and the setup. This is no funeral, it’s a circus. It looks like a political rally, which it was.
