I love a beautiful rant and this is definitely one!
It’s rather shocking that Kevin O’Leary isn’t infatuated with Justin Trudeau’s socks and feminist demeanor!
Together [Musk and Ramaswamy] seem to have put paid to yet another egregious, multi-billion dollar CR (continuing resolution) filled with enough pork — some of it written in tired woke phraseology, if you can believe it, with Republicans signed on — to stock every barbecue joint from Atlanta to Bakersfield and have enough left over to supply South Korea (they love their barbecue too).
It was Mr. Ramaswamy who broke it down for us on Mr. Musk’s X. Read the whole thing, if you haven’t but here’s the wrap up…
Part of what's happening is there's been a revolution in the public's ability to process information, form instant coalitions and react. The CR fiasco signals the arrival of the political machine gun on the linear battlefield.

Following Trump’s lead, the fellows at the Ruthless Podcast, go out of their way to offend uppity Canadian urban bigots aka Leftists. They ask an interesting question: Does the exodus of many Canadian comedians, to seek fame & fortune in America, mean that those Canucks left in the Great White North have lost their sense of humour?! Are the humourless scolds on the Left representative of Canadians in 2024?
If you don’t appreciate the fine art of trash talking and trolling, then you do not want to listen to this episode.
Related: In less of a trolling bent, here are 2 Canadian gentlemen discussing the mess that is Trudeau’s Canada.
Neil Oliver interviews Matt Taibbi. Grab a coffee. It’s well worth a watch.
Piggybacking on yesterday’s post by Francisco, Gad Saad chimed in, which drew Elon Musk’s attention.
I then saw a photo of Elon Musk carrying his little son on his shoulders, part of “Take Your Child to Work Day” in April. I asked X’s Grok to draw an image of Justin Trudeau being taken to work on “someone’s” shoulders and it provided this rather apropos gem:

Finally, if anyone actually thinks that what Trudeau said about Harris is sincere, you need to go back and read about him firing Jody Wilson-Raybould because she refused to go along with his corruption. He DOES NOT respect women, let alone aboriginal ones!
CTV- Trudeau calls Harris election loss ‘attack’ on women’s progress
“And yet, just a few weeks ago, the United States voted for a second time to not elect its first woman president. Everywhere, women’s rights and women’s progress is under attack. Overtly, and subtly.”
Tears are flowin’ over at Robert Reich’s home:
The media has it all wrong about Trump’s picks for his administration. The conventional view is they’re “Trump loyalists” whom Trump “recruited”.
Rubbish.
First, they’re not loyalists; they’re subservient hacks.
There’s a crucial difference.
All politicians want their underlings to be loyal, but Trump wants them to be more loyal to him than to the nation, and he demands total subservience without regard to right or wrong.
It has now been one month since the massive Republican victory. Next month, Trump et al will take over the reins of the U.S. federal government. Stronger than a wish list, what are the “really must do” items you think should happen almost immediately once they get into power?
Here’s a starting list of ideas from yours truly:
This video is from a few weeks ago and is UK focused but is it really any different in Canada? Simply put, do the majority of Left-leaning Canadians think it is “normal” and “sane” to view the world like Joy Reid and Rachel Maddow do?!
I am proud to announce that Kashyap “Kash” Patel will serve as the next Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Kash is a brilliant lawyer, investigator, and “America First” fighter who has spent his career exposing corruption, defending Justice, and protecting the American People. He played a pivotal role in uncovering the Russia, Russia, Russia Hoax, standing as an advocate for truth, accountability, and the Constitution. Kash did an incredible job during my First Term, where he served as Chief of Staff at the Department of Defense, Deputy Director of National Intelligence, and Senior Director for Counterterrorism at the National Security Council. Kash has also tried over 60 jury trials. This FBI will end the growing crime epidemic in America, dismantle the migrant criminal gangs, and stop the evil scourge of human and drug trafficking across the Border. Kash will work under our great Attorney General, Pam Bondi, to bring back Fidelity, Bravery, and Integrity to the FBI.

CBC now has more.
Raised as a Roman Catholic, confessions are a big part of being an adult for me. So I’m very open to forgiving someone for their past transgressions, just like I’d hope they would be willing to forgive me for mine.
In the past year, culminating with Trump’s recent historic victory, several prominent media figures have appeared to do a 180° turn and now tacitly “seem” to be not so anti-Trump and anti-conservative. Only time will tell how sincere they are. Here’s a partial list of those I’m highly skeptical of ever being sincerely sorry:
