Is Our Diversities Learing?

Why do Western bureaucracies behave as though they’re compromised? Because they are.

An allegedly corrupt senior immigration official and his sleazy moneyman are accused of manipulating the US immigration process and approving citizenship applications for nearly $960,000 in bribes, authorities said on Friday.

Investigators discovered the reported racket through WhatsApp messages between former senior United States Citizenship and Immigration Services officer Lukman Owolabi Ganiyu, his financial accomplice Adeniyi Akeem Somoye, and individual citizenship applicants.

The pair, located in Texas, bypassed standard procedures by funneling bribe-paying applicants directly to Ganiyu — skipping key steps in the immigration process like criminal background checks, according to the US Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Texas.

Get your people on the inside, and the country is your oyster.

    1. I managed to make all the way through my K-Bachelor Degree education having never being exposed to names like: Lukman Owolabi Ganiyu, or Adeniyi Akeem Somoye. But that just certifies my desperate need for the strength of our diversities or something, eh?

    1. If you’ve heard of it happening somewhere else, it’s probably happening in Canada too, and visa versa.

  1. BUT BUT ILLEGALS ARE “CUSTOMERS”

The bureaucrats in the UK’s Home Office Immigration section refer to asylum seekers as “customers” claims a whistle-blower. This reflects a culture of “providing a service to them, not a service to the country”.

Many Pakistanis claim asylum because they are gay and according to the whistle-blower, most have partnered with the same man in Pakistan.

I suspect the designation “customer” is a common reference in western government bureaucracies
