  1. Lets assume you are a smart tech grad in Canada.

    You can go work for Elon Musk, make double/triple what you make in Canada and after tax keep even way more if in a Red State like Texas, Louisiana or Florida. You can buy a gun to defend yourself, and if you defend yourself in Florida and Texas you will be exonerated.

    Or you can work in Canada for a second or third rate tech company that might fail, may possibly not be able to buy a gun and if you do may not be able to defend yourself in court. If you say the wrong thing you know you are in trouble. You have no free speech rights whatsoever.

      We figured this out in the 1990s. I left Canada in 1992 to move to the USA because there was -no-freaking-way- they were ever going to let me into school for PT. No way. They told me so to my face.

      So I got into school no problem and graduated just fine in New York, practiced just fine in a couple of states, and now 35 years later I have stuff. Yay.

      If I had stayed here? No way I’d have succeeded. Nuh uh. I’d be working McDonalds at 70. Or construction. But not retired, because when you don’t got money you don’t get to retire.

      So this is not new. This is -old- news.

      What’s new is how much worse everything has gotten. The smart and privileged kids who already got into school and got the degree and got the job STILL CAN’T MAKE IT.

      A house costs a million bucks? They must work 10 years to save up a down payment, if there are 2 of them and they both pull down over $100K.

      What kid makes over $100K right out the gate? The best and the brightest. Are they staying here in Canaduh? Hell no. They are all going to the USA as fast as they can get a visa.

      It’s not a brain drain. It’s a fire-hose.

  5. No offense meant to Ms. Robinson. I like what she says on many issues and she seems to have more backbone than most conservative politicians, but 4 minutes in and she has mangled the pronunciation of 2 or 3 words. Not a good look. Just trying to help.

    A view from afar.
    Everybody that is interested in the affairs of men knows by now that the current prime minister is an agent of the WEF.
    Right now, as you read this he, the prime minister, is whipping anti American propaganda. Just read the papers, see the tee vee, listen to the radio, the mass media cartel is fully pushing the massive anti American propaganda.
    You see, they may and will say, they are not doing that, they don’t see it that way. They may be willfully naïve, or there is a saying ‘if you’re up to your neck in the latrine matter, it becomes to smell like roses’, if you get my drift.
    He and his press agents of the media cartel is pushing the plebeians against Americans, it is so palpable, it permeates the mass media, you can smell it in the air, it is full of it.
    Who, one would ask, is he going to be pushing on the plebeians? One can say the European Union’s commission is his aim. You see, the EU Commission is unelected confab of global fascists and global socialists that decides on what happens in the joint. They let in the shithole dwellers by the thousands, the individual governments have, as though no say in those or any other matters.
    This seems to be the aim of the current prime minister, he can wash his hands of anything they decide and pretend that he can’t do anything about it, it’s the commission.

  8. She’s been my local counsellor for the last 4 years and I proudly voted for her. I also voted for her when she ran for the Ontario Party in this riding.

    This woman has withstood enormous slings and arrows from the establishment and this braindead community and continues to fight and is still standing.

    I don’t care what you think about her polish or eloquence, she is the real deal, she is Tamara Lich level grit and character.

    Well done Lisa, you have my vote for mayor in October.

That it had the potential for what happens in his band.

    He was assured by the radio host that could not happen. Yeah Right, that is a relief… after all the Liberals have really cracked down on Organized Crime, since…when?
