LET THE BODIES HIT THE FLOOR

HONK HONK

David Lametti, the former Justice Minister and Attorney General of Canada, is resigning from his position, effective February 1st.

His term as Attorney General was notably marked by the Freedom Convoy protests in February 2022 and the subsequent response from the Trudeau Government.

Lametti’s resignation comes two days after a federal court judge ruled the Liberals violated the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms by invoking the Emergencies Act against protesters in Ottawa during the Freedom Convoy.

“Trudeau government use falsified evidence to shut down the truckers’ protest”

Over the last year,

Public and others have reported on illegal abuses of power by government intelligence, security, and military agencies across the Western world. These abuses of power have included censorship efforts by the US Department of Homeland Security and British military; Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) entrapment schemes; and FBI and Secret Service involvement in January 6, 2021 pipe bomb disinformation.

Now, a months-long Public investigation reveals that the Canadian government used disinformation to crack down on the “Freedom Convoy” protest, led by truckers demanding an end to Covid-19 vaccine mandates, in February 2022. The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), Canada’s national police force, then promoted this false information to other “Five Eyes” English-speaking nations.

This discovery is significant because it contributes to a pattern of intelligence agencies from the US, UK, Australia, New Zealand, and Canada, which have collaborated on surveillance since World War II, being caught abusing their powers to investigate and persecute the political enemies of elected officials.[…]

On February 14, 2022, Trudeau took the extraordinary measure of invoking the “Emergencies Act” for the first time in Canada’s history. The Act gave the government sweeping powers to arrest protesters, freeze their bank accounts, seize property, and dismantle blockades, which is what Trudeau did.

Central to Trudeau’s invocation of the Act was the alleged threat of right-wing extremism and violence, but new documents that podcaster Jeremy Mackenzie obtained through Canada’s freedom of information law show that this drastic measure was based on fabricated intelligence. What’s more, Canada appears to have shared this disinformation with other members of the Five Eyes alliance. Five Eyes includes Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand.

Autonomous Truckers- The Inner Strength of a Political Prisoner

It has been nearly two years since Jerry Morin, Chris Carbert, Chris Lysak, and Tony Olienick were arrested in relation to their participation at the Coutts, Alberta Freedom Convoy protest site. They have been denied bail, and their trial is not set to begin until May 2024, a full 27 months after their arrests.

They’re not being kept in the Ritz. As Mark Steyn likes to say the process is the punishment.

So here is my update since December 5 when I was transferred from Medicine Hat remand to Calgary Remand, upon arrival they humiliate us by strip searching us and then body scan us with some machine you stand on as it traverses back and forth pumping you with radiation waves even though they say its “perfectly” normal (add eye rolling emoji) from there I was sent to unit 7 which is an intake unit for guys right off the street, its a very dirty unit and thankfully the inmate had cleaned the dried puke off my bunk with his socks right before I arrived to be his cell mate. He had then threw the socks into the toilet and tried flushing them and they plugged the toilet. So we had no working toilet until the next day when thankfully staff came and fixed the problem.

Those without time to read the whole thing might want to scroll down to the bottom for the day to day accounts of what these men are going through.

Is Trudeau Looking to Protect His Future Job at the UN?

Lieberals attack Conservative MP Leslyn Lewis over petition calling for Canada to leave UN:

Conservative MP Leslyn Lewis is facing criticism for promoting a petition advocating Canada’s withdrawal from the United Nations and World Health Organization.

The petition says Canada’s membership in these organizations “imposes negative consequences on the people of Canada, far outweighing any benefits.”

The Prime Minister’s Office and Liberal MPs have accused Lewis and the Conservatives of being “conspiracy theorists and extremists.”

Things You Won’t See on CBC

Nothing to see here, just move along. Every single government official did everything perfectly throughout the pandemic and continues to do so. We are truly blessed to ruled by such divine and omniscience individuals.

Dr. John Campbell- Canadian Citizens Inquiry

National Citizens Inquiry- Commissioners Final Report

Anyone who participated in the hearings or watched even a small fraction of the more than 300 recorded testimonies will have been changed forever. Many of the testimonies were heartbreaking, shocking, and often terrifying. Over the 24 days of hearings, witness testimonies provided an overall sense of how Canada has been transformed by the actions of all levels of government to address to address the pandemic.

The transformation from what was once considered unthinkable — e.g. sweeping restrictions of Charter rights — to the to the acceptance of draconian government lockdowns within a span of just three years is indeed a remarkable phenomenon.

The testimonies objectively demonstrate that an unprecedented attack has been carried out on the citizens of Canada and that not since World War II have so many Canadian lives been lost due to a single aggressive attack on its peoples.

I Want A New Country

Dan Knight;

The recent 30-hour marathon session in the House of Commons, a Conservative-led protest against the carbon tax, has been downplayed by the Liberals as mere formalities. However, this couldn’t be further from the truth.

This session was far from a mere formality. It was a vital demonstration of resistance against a government that’s running rampant with its spending and elitist policies. The Conservatives, under Pierre Poilievre, knew they were unlikely to stop any of these bills with the Bloc and NDP in lockstep with the Liberals. But that wasn’t the point. The point was to make the Liberals work for their decisions, to make them physically present in the House to face the consequences of their actions.

Let’s cut through the spin and face the stark reality of Justin Trudeau’s Canada. We’re witnessing a food inflation rate that’s estimated to be a staggering 32.7% from 2021 to 2024. Think about that – nearly one-third of your buying power has evaporated under this government. Every trip to the grocery store is now a financial struggle for the average Canadian. Your dollar just doesn’t stretch as far as it used to, and families across the nation are feeling the pinch.

The root of this economic hardship? Look no further than the Liberal government’s inflationary budgets and policies. Take the carbon tax, for instance. It’s not just an environmental measure; it’s a direct contributor to the rising cost of living that’s making life increasingly unaffordable for millions of Canadians.

Our Chinese-Installed Government In Ottawa

Sam Cooper;

In the most compelling evidence yet to emerge regarding Beijing’s meddling in Canada’s 2021 election, CSIS intercepted phone calls between a Consul General and the middleman for a federal candidate that was clandestinely supported by a “loyal” Chinese Canadian community group.

The case is detailed in a “Canadian Eyes Only” report containing intelligence on China’s sprawling efforts to boost candidates in recent Canadian municipal, provincial and federal elections — often using the same local cells of influence against multiple levels of government.

The Bureau
previously reported three alarming cases detailed in CSIS’s October 31, 2022 “Intelligence Assessment” — including a Chinese Consulate’s clandestine meeting in 2022 with its preferred leadership candidate for a provincial party, and also a Beijing agent’s scheme last year, to elect a federal party leader by covertly purchasing party memberships.

Two new cases examined in this story point to unaddressed gaps in Canada’s foreign interference laws, such as the inability to convert CSIS evidence into prosecutions.

Not by accident.

… And the horse you rode in on: Sask on Guilbeault’s emissions cap

Guilbeault’s latest application of a knee to the neck of the oil and gas industry in Canada:

Canada proposes new methane emissions rules for oil-and-gas sector

To which Saskatchewan responds:

‘A production cap by default’: Sask gov’t reacts to Guilbeault’s proposed methane regulations.

Ever hear about the Output Based Pricing? It’s basically a third form of carbon tax. Well, we’re going to use its proceeds to build reactors.

Saskatchewan to use Output Based Pricing to fund small modular reactor

In related news, in case you missed it Sunday night because I messed up my scheduling, a great column on Saskatchewan telling the feds to FU on the carbon tax on home heating:

Spyware normally associated with the intelligence world is being used by 13 federal departments and agencies, according to contracts obtained under access to information legislation and shared with Radio-Canada.

Radio-Canada has also learned those departments’ use of the spyware did not undergo a privacy impact assessment as required by federal government directive.

The tools in question can be used to recover and analyze data found on computers, tablets and mobile phones, including information that has been encrypted and password-protected. This can include text messages, contacts, photos and travel history.

Certain software can also be used to access a user’s cloud-based data, reveal their internet search history, deleted content and social media activity.
