LET THE BODIES HIT THE FLOOR

HONK HONK

David Lametti, the former Justice Minister and Attorney General of Canada, is resigning from his position, effective February 1st.

His term as Attorney General was notably marked by the Freedom Convoy protests in February 2022 and the subsequent response from the Trudeau Government.

Lametti’s resignation comes two days after a federal court judge ruled the Liberals violated the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms by invoking the Emergencies Act against protesters in Ottawa during the Freedom Convoy.

  1. Yup. The rats are leaving the S.S. Turdo. Too bad it’s docked and not in the North Atlantic.

  2. Marco Mendocino was the Public Safety minister and a key player supporting the invocation of the Emergencies Act. The Dear Leader kicked him out of Cabinet in July 2023 for something else (lying about Paul Bernardo being transferred to a medium security prison). He does not deserve to be re-elected.

  3. From Lametti’s resignation letter it seems that he’ll be resigning from a full-time professorship at McGill in order to go to work at a private law firm…. But he was able to keep the full-time professorship at McGill while he was a Liberal MP and government minister..?
    Have I got that right?

And who, in a senior position, gives a mere one week’s notice?

    Talk about entitlements..

    1. The double-dip is a given these days. Double-dip, work from home, full pension, bonuses. Keeps CRA busy hustling up money from us poor slobs.

    2. Wikipedia says “During his parliamentary and ministerial service, he remains on leave from McGill.”

And “On January 25, 2024, he announced his resignation from parliament effective Feburary 1, 2024, in order to join law firm Fasken Martineau DuMoulin where he will specialize in Indigenous law.”

      1. Indigenous law, I know all about that. It is very simple. The white man serves us. So you are going to keep paying this guy.

        1. Indigenous law….making money for lawyers pretending to care about the indigenous. Cottage industry

    3. Mendocino should be rolling and spitting in pizza dough in Montreal. It would play to his strengths.
His mouth and throat are fit for the job. His very face attests to my point. And he was formerly one of Blackie’s boys, like Lametti, who also just bailed with one week notice and his role in all that shite.
Hey, does Blackie not like Italians??
Excuse my misspelling of Italian names, right, Rota? North Bay is my home town and I did not know that Freeland knew about it.
      Tides turn. Keep the faith.
And Fook you know who, right, Tamara?

  4. One brief moment of integrity by Mr Lametti?

But I’m sure he’ll “redeem” himself with a lucrative appointment somewhere.

  5. Post Media said Lametti had all sorts of issues leading up to his resignation. His involvement in the Convoy and the EA, however, was not mentioned. The Loyal Presstitutes are still carrying water for the Lieberals.

  6. If you listen closely, you can hear Jody Wilson-Raybould laughing and laughing and laughing. She left with her integrity and reputation intact, Lametti…not so much.

    1. Or perhaps just an actor who understands that his role at this point is to commit harakiri; to give turdo’s lapdog press a fake trail that points to who was responsible for the E. Act.

  7. I’m having fun too… it’s good… enjoy it while it lasts. The next level court will probably strike this down… or maybe it will go all the way to the Supreme Court. But with my certain knowledge that Canada is a pretend country, I severely doubt that a court ruling such as this, as sane and justified as it is, will be allowed to stand.

    1. I am hopeful that it will stand. Invoking Emergency Measures for the largely peaceful Freedom Convoy was very, very heavy handed. I think the court needs to be aware of serious damage to Canada if this judgement is not allowed to stand. The Emergency Act was a direct attack on Constitutional rights. Giving the Liberals a pass on this simply paves the way for future tyranny.

      1. Whether it stands or not (and I have my doubts that it will, given the corrupt nature of the courts in general, in part because of the number of judges Lametti himself appointed), The fact is that the Mosley judgement has set a legal precedent. It may be overturned on appeal, but we have at least one judge that’s on record for ruling that the EA was a constitutional breach.
Unlike Rouleau’s ridiculous findings, which isn’t worth the paper it’s written on, (because both Trudeau and Freeland lied with impunity, and the commission itself was stacked against the freedom fighters.), that means something.
I actually met and had a conversation with Brendan Miller who, a couple of days after my conversation with him, was kicked out of the hearing by Rouleau. All I can say about the Rouleau commission is that what we suspect about that clown show of a hearing is actually true.

  8. Resignation for violating the highest law in the land? Put him out on the Ottawa streets run him over with a horse and a good beating from the same sadistic cops that had been there 2 years ago. After that freeze his bank account and confiscate his government pension.

  9. Viva Frei mentioned that Lametti suddenly deleted his entire Twitter account. If he is now sued, one wonders if there is something in there that is legally damning.

  10. David “the rat” Lametti. Not even a consigliere but a goon brought in as a cleaner for the SNC mess, left behind when his predecessor proved too stubbornly ethical to handle.

Now, “go home and get your shine box”

    1. The Penguin saw Batman coming. They kept pushing the boundaries until they flipped over the edge.. Jail the pricks.

  11. So he’s taken one for the team. Watch to see what the additional payoff is during and while he gets all the aboriginal files from the Feds.

    1. If we actually had ethics in this country, Lametti wouldn’t be allowed anywhere near a federal file for two years !

  12. Just remember the asshole’s name when the Great Reverse happens and all these fckers are held to account in the village square.
Another filthy lawyer who should have his liver cut out and fed to city rats.

  13. My guess is Lametti took the high jump. Bet there’s a size 13 librano footprint right between his shoulder blades.

By deep sixing Lametti the libranos are setting a plausible deniability defence and they’ve got a guy to blame.

  14. Canada has had a number of Liberal A.G.’s – Trudeau, Cotler, Rock, and Lametti who have left their mark, so to speak.
PET – ‘The State has no business in the bedrooms of the Nation’
Cotler – Hunting permits for ‘Canadian Human Rights’ Sec 13.1 offenders.
Rock – Anne Coulter’s introduction to ‘polite’ Canadian society.
Lametti – The Son King’s Napoleon, squashing the revolting.

  15. Is it possible for the Convoy prisoners, presently being prosecuted, to make a complaint to the Law Society?
Malicious prosecution, manufacture of evidence etc. etc.
I am sure lawyers can come up with more to describe his actions as Canada’s top lawyer. Time to go on the offence. No chance of him being disbarred but let him defend himself.

  16. Injustice Minister who was under duress to give the ruling class what they wanted.. What was he going to say, no?.. So much for our checks and balances.. If we even have any..

Trudeau and the NDP / deep state treated a street party protest as if they were terrorists or foreign combatants.. Annoying yes, but that’s the point of protest..

Then when we get a real terrorist attack they roll over like the dogs they are in the other direction.. ???

  17. Aren’t resignations and Cabinet shuffles designed to eliminate Ministerial responsibility?

  18. “LET THE BODIES HIT THE FLOOR”..
    Umm ..No.
I will be much more entertained and satisfied,if certain of these “bodies” should stop suddenly just above the floor.
For this is what treason deserves.
The enemy within is always far more destructive, than those outside.
    Can Ahh Duh is done.
Because of these kind of people.
I wish to see them rewarded..
    Properly.

    1. “I will be much more entertained and satisfied, if certain of these “bodies” should stop suddenly just above the floor.”
Would these bodies be swinging by any chance? Would these bodies be wearing the Nuremburg neck tie?

  19. Serious question here. Do these people have civil immunity? Is there a legal impediment to them being sued in civil court for knowingly violating the Charter rights of those who had their banking locked down? If not, I’ll put $100 to the start-up cash for getting a civil suit off the ground.

    1. Well … I know this is Canada … but if PDJT can be sued 7 ways to Sunday … I certainly hope that the entire Trudope Troupe can be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. Starting with that little pig-woman Freeland.

    2. If its a class action civil suit, you won’t have to put up much. One well heeled tall hat Albertan could kick it off for everybody.

      Just sayin’, Tex.
