Prime Minister Peter Pellegrini announced after the European Union Summit on Sunday that Slovakia will NOT support the United Nations Global Migration Compact.
“Slovakia will not support this United Nations pact under any circumstances and will not agree with it,” Pellegrini said after the meetings.
The Global Compact for Safe, Orderly and Regular Migration is set to be signed in Marrakech in December.

Poland is very likely to stay out of a United Nations pact promoting an international approach to safe and orderly migration, the country’s prime minister said Friday.
Mateusz Morawiecki said during a meeting with German Chancellor Angela Merkel in Warsaw that national sovereignty and border protection were the issues behind Poland’s opposition to the migration compact.

In a decision that will undoubtedly outrage conservatives who have sought to highlight the horrors of terrorist groups like ISIS, a French court has ruled that Marine Le Pen, the leader of the party formerly known as the National Front (now National Rally) and runner-up in last year’s French presidential vote, must undergo a psychiatric evaluation to determine whether “she is capable of understanding remarks and answering questions.”
In other words, the court is treating Le Pen as if being conservative is a mental illness.
The ruling follows formal charges that were brought against Le Pen in March after she tweeted gruesome photos of the bodies of innocent people subjected to horrific deaths at the hands of ISIS. The decision horrified conservatives who accused the French government of attempting to criminalize conservative political speech, as it was only the latest example of a disturbing trend in the European Union, per the Local.
Le Pen tweeted her anger at the decision, saying the court’s ruling felt like a “hallucination.”

A reporter for CNN appeared to harass an elderly woman in Florida during a segment that aired on the network on Tuesday, accusing her of working with Russian nationals during the 2016 presidential election.

Czech President Miloš Zeman has won a second five-year term in office, following a tight run-off vote against his rival Jiri Drahos.
According to the Czech Statistics Office, Zeman received 51.8% of the votes and his rival 48.2%.
Zeman is a strong opponent of immigration and said earlier that refugees don’t integrate, because their culture is incompatible with European culture.
