Heart of the Inferno

Matt Taibbi- “I’m just going to the heart of the inferno”: Interviewing Alex Moyer, Director of “Alex’s War.”

The director of the controversial new movie about Alex Jones on media blindness, misleading labels, and America’s mental health crisis.

Alex Moyer has now made two movies in a row, TFW No GF and Alex’s War, that sound too much like journalism for today’s media. Even though most reviewers seemed to know exactly what they thought about both subjects before they even saw the films, Moyer was criticized for not planting enough signs telling them — and audiences — what to think about disaffected loner men, or InfoWars villain Alex Jones. The Guardian review of TFW No GF was typical, saying the film:

Your Moral and Intellectual Superiors

Dr. RollerGator PhD- Did a 10 year old rape victim from Ohio get denied an abortion?

A viral story sourced to an Indiana pro-choice activist references a law that does not exist.

You can understand the motivation of Dr. Caitlan Bernard, as a strong pro-choice activist, to make up a story. If you mistakenly understand the Ohio law to be a literal six week ban, then it is plausible that someday this combination of details will occur. The fact that the story isn’t true now is not strictly relevant to you, because it’s a lie that harms nobody and you believe it will be true eventually. From your perspective, it only contains upside.

Terry Glavin vs Jesse Brown

Terry Glavin has poked the hornets nest known as the residential school mass grave findings. Jessie Brown tries to reign him in and Glavin is having none of it. It’s a fiery exchange. Directly below the audio in the link is Glavin’s written explanation.

The Real Story- The Uncensored Canadaland Collision

I’m not going to be nice about this anymore. Anyone who tells you that’s what’s going on in Year of the Graves is – tenured university post or not – a fool, a liar, someone who simply lacks the gene for embarrassment, or one of those well-meaning types who are susceptible to the faddish excesses of the Words Are Violence community.

Speaking of which, when you listen to the interview you might notice Brown’s persistent refusal to acknowledge that “violence” is a word that is approprately used to describe what happened to dozens of churches across Canada last summer. They were vandalized with paint and with rocks thrown through their windows, and several Indigenous churches beloved of their congregations and parishes were burned to the ground.

Lies, Damn Lies and Liberal Lies

That new country idea keeps looking better every day.

Lorrie Goldstein- Trudeau’s carbon tax cheques will make most of us poorer

My view is that the Trudeau government’s carbon tax has always been a Trojan horse or, if you prefer, an elaborate bait-and-switch scheme, built on the logical fallacy that paying a new tax will make most people richer.

Trudeau obviously hopes that when people living in the four provinces where his carbon tax applies start receiving quarterly cheques in July — with an initial double payment to cover the January to June period this year — they’ll forget that most of them will be paying more in carbon taxes than they’ll get in rebates.

They Told Me There Wouldn’t Be Any Math

What it looks like when you use real numbers.

Sheldon Yakiwchuk- “BASE RATE FALLACY”, they Screech…

Seriously, one of the most unintelligent conversations going on, with those still clinging to being vaccinated, is the Base Rate Fallacy Claim. Somebody pulled out a Crayola drawing and now it’s so common, you almost get a nosebleed just looking at the ignorance behind it.

Because the pool of ‘Vulnerable to COVID’ was diluted in the vaccine effective metrics by governments coercing a majority of the population into getting a medical treatment for a virus that 99.9x% of the population would have survived without…the people who were complete assholes to everybody else based on their virtue signalling how many jabs they have, they’ve used this completely moronic logic to try and back up this failed claim.

It’s embarrassing and really stupid.

While Everyone’s Arguing About Abortion

There’s something else killing a lot of unborn children that no one wants to talk about.

Nature- Homicide is a top cause of maternal death in the United States

The researchers found that US women who are pregnant or were pregnant in the past 42 days (the post-partum period) die by homicide at more than twice the rate that they die of bleeding or placental disorders — the leading causes of what are usually classified as pregnancy-related deaths.

The team found that Black women in the United States who are pregnant or were recently pregnant have up to nearly three-fold higher risk of dying by homicide than those who are not pregnant — the highest increase reported among any racial or ethnic group.

Lies, Damn Lies and Liberal Lies

BlacklocksReporter on John Gormley this morning.  Interview starts at the 4:10 mark.

A number of civil liberties groups are pushing the federal government to allow them to call witnesses and compel sworn testimony during the inquiry into the Trudeau government’s invocation of the Emergencies Act. According to the Canadian Civil Liberties Association, an inquiry that doesn’t involve the major players testifying under oath would be meaningless.
