1. Dictators say things to justinfy their actions:

2. “Funding appears to be coming from a host of U.S. and international sources,” claimed the ISD.

   … And likely the vast majority of these funds were from Canadians working in foreign climes and making good money. Unlike the stay-at-homes going down the sliding slope from Liberal climate policies, devaluation, inflation. etc. etc.

3. I guess the Ottawa Police draws its inspiration from other, now defunct, security organizations… They’re Kinda Good Boys, they wouldn’t Stoop To Answering Silly Inquiries…

4. As I said many times… The OPS and Chief Bell cannot be trusted to tell the truth regarding the truckers. That ball-buster Bell is only interested in serving his masters, not the people of Ottawa.

   Because immunity.

   1. Wrong, they are accountable, just not to the public. The police routinely lie, but so too do all politicians. There is no statute in the books which requires either one to tell the truth. This is why it is so difficult to get a government on a stand to testify before any court. They can’t hide.

6. They were working in unbearable conditions. Getting overtime on their six figure salaries, going home every night, or staying in a hotel. And they wonder why the public sneers at them.

   1. I get the impression that he got some rough treatment from police counsel today. He may well be wondering just who his friends really are, and he may have sudden new scores to settle, and a deeper appreciation of some of the old ones. We’ll have to see but the potential for sensation is quite remarkable.
