Gas prices in the United States have shot up since January 2021, increasing more than 40% in that period. This and Biden’s monetary spending policies are contributing to historic levels of inflation surging well beyond the average American’s pay increases.
Biden canceled the Keystone XL Pipeline and canceled oil and gas leases via executive orders on his first day in office. He faces lawsuits over those actions while they contribute to the rise in energy prices. The instability his decisions have caused in Afghanistan could have yet another negative impact on the economy.
Last week, Biden asked OPEC+ to increase production, prompting derision and reminders of his executive orders that harm U.S. energy production. He has his answer.

Trudeau government will “wait and see” before recognizing Taliban government
While campaigning in vote rich Quebec and Ontario, his lapdogs are considering recognizing the Taliban at some point. They will wait a few days to see if the rapes, murders, and persecutions are limited in nature before making a decision. No word yet on when the Taliban will reopen the Afghan embassy in Ottawa.

A police investigation into the alleged sexual exploitation of a 15-year-old girl in Alberta has resulted in eight arrests and the issuing of warrants for two additional suspects […]
The accused range in age from 16 to 37 and a physician and a business owner are among those facing charges. Eight of the suspects are currently in custody awaiting their bail hearing while warrants have been issued for the two suspects — 26-year-old Merion Krasniqi and 22-year-old Khaled Alsaid — who remain at large.

Police confirm former Lethbridge-based Dr. Ziyaad Noor is the physician facing charges.
