  3. Something terrifying just occurred to me. VP Biden was Obama’s Insurance Policy. Now we have installed the Insurance Policy as POTUS, with HIS Insurance Policy as VP, and we did it “legally” and mostly peacefully.

  4. Sorry, I’m re-posting some of this from last night as this is truly history happening as we watch. There’s more recent video. People plummeting from departing aircraft, etc. US apparently now trying to get Taliban to agree to not interfere with Kabul Airport situation. Good luck with that. Still expecting them to start shelling the airport and assuming they will summarily dispatch a whole bunch of people, just as a start, to make their point. Then look for “hostages” to be used to finance the whole thing (think “pallets of cash” like Obama sent to Iran).

    At the end of the day, it’s really no different than when and WHY the Marines ended up going “to the shores of Tripoli”. Whether people want to or will understand that ISLAM is at war with us (whether we like it or not) is the essential question.

    And, oh, by the way, please note, they will NEVER GIVE UP! They, like the CCP, are definitely in for the “long game”.

    The fact that we have welcomed so many of them to our country is very troubling. People can sit back and take comfort to themselves saying, “Only a very small minority are Islamic extremists (see al-Qaeda, ISIS, Taliban, etc.). My thought is it’s like saying, “Not all the Germans supported the NAZIS”. To me, that was only true when the NAZIS started losing.

      They are, and will lead us in only one direction. Down.

  8. Not a tip, just wanted to note the passing of a man who is worthy of damnatio memoriae. Paul Hellyer.

    Apparently, (I don’t watch TV), Hellyer died a few days ago at an advanced age. Only the good die young.

    The guy who wrecked the military, and who is now more (in)famous for his belief that ETs have visited the earth, (perhaps Maggie was a star child), is more importantly the SOB who handed PET the premiership.

    Judy Lamarsh begged Hellyer to pull out of the leadership race in 1968 and support rival candidate Robert Winters, (at that point in the balloting Winters was the leading candidate). Unaware she was in front of a live CBC camera on the convention floor, Judy told Hellyer that it was now or never “to stop that bastard” [Trudeau]. Hellyer refused to pull out and the rest is ignominious history.

    And remember, if there hadn’t been a Trudeau I, there certainly would never now be a Trudeau Junior.

    Scott is a former diplomat and chooses his words very carefully. He has had it with the Bong. He is also the husband of Catherine McKenna.

    My guess is the wheels on the Bongo bus are held on by one bolt. At the first sign of trouble the bus goes off the cliff.

        The election call has been known to the cabinet for a long time. Why did she suddenly announce she would not seek re-election? Her news conference was cryptic, bordering on anger.

        Gilmore’s article was circumspect – written in the language of the diplomat. I think it was pointed at Bongo.

        1. I see a few scenarios as to why McKenna would want to give up an almost $300,000/yr salary to spend more time with her kids and do more Green Projects in the private sector.

          • Perhaps Her Boss didn’t like her getting so much attention in the media. Attention that he would’ve wanted for himself.

          • Perhaps she got a more lucrative offer for:
          (a) a better Green Job, or
          (b) an offer from a toy company for a “Climate Barbie Doll”

          • Perhaps McKenna’s predecessors at the Dept of Infrastructure, aka Ministers Sohi and Champagne, spent too much on the new Champlain Bridge in Montreal. She didn’t want to be the fall guy for their over-spending.

          Her ideas on Build Back Better got squandered away and went to Build Back Bubkis.

  27. Nova Scotia goes to the polls today. The libranos are seeking a 3rd term.

    The black man was there recently throwing money around and pumping the librano premiers tires.

    As recently as 3 weeks ago the libranos had a 9 point lead in the polls. After the Bongs visit the polls are now virtually tied.

    Now wouldn’t it be sweet irony if the libranos went from majority to minority or even opposition after having all that help from the Bong.

    One can only hope. You can bet the libranos are nervous.

  28. An icy wind just blew across the bow of the tramp steamer Justin Trudeau. The cbc has called the Nova Scotia election for the Conservatives.

    This is the first government to change since the start of covid. Sure it’s not much but the liberanos were there recently to unleash their star and make much of the $10/day child care plan. It was the Bong hizself who presented it to Nova Scotians. Frau freeland was sent to Saskatchewan to announce the same package.

    There will be a lot of nervous nellies in the librano camp tonight wondering why they are in the midst of an election that wasn’t nessessary

    1. Looking like NS Conservatives will be 2-3 seats short of a majority. I wonder if the NDP will prop up a Liberal coalition to keep the Conservatives out of power. I wonder the same after the Federal Election. Trudeau will not go quietly.
