Because in both Israel and Britain, most people—especially older, more clinical vulnerable cohorts—are fully vaccinated. Age- and vaccination status-disaggregated risk ratios in both those country show clearly that vaccines are effective (not 100% effective, but highly effective nonetheless) at reducing infections, hospitalizations, and deaths.
Berenson could stand to learn some basic epidemiology.

If you paid enough attention and stuck around for the more detailed technical vaccine discussions, you’d know that regular boosters were always on the table as a potential scenario. Israeli public health experts have said this all along.

Yesterday, there was a Conrad Black article in the National Post, discussing deaths of the elderly. There were few comments, so I wrote that ivermectin would have saved the lives of many elderly in nursing homes. I told people to look up the
nursing home in North York that used ivermectin for scabies and the success that it had for preventing Covid.
I knew that they would censor my comments, and they did very quickly.
No mention of any treatment other than the “vaxx” program is allowed.
There is an agenda to suppress the facts.
Yes, even there, you have to use code like ” … be allowed to offer treatments …”. It’s incredible that viable, and even the search for potential, treatments is actively forbidden by the medical establishment.

I had heard about that senior’s home that had been using Ivermectin for scabies, but only as a passing reference. Thanks for mentioning it with the North York detail which helps for verification. This is exactly the kind of story the mefia should be covering.

Public health advocates haven’t “tossed aside” anything. They’ve been saying from the get-go that booster shots may be needed over time, in much the same way of annual flu shots. Some may have hoped that COVID vaccines provide lasting, broad spectrum protection against current and future variants based on early clinical and real-world vaccine performance studies, but the notion of booster shots was always on the table even before the arrival of more recent, larger datasets that that raise the likelihood of that scenario.
This shouldn’t need saying, but it’s important to remember that this pandemic is unfolding in real time. The public (understandably) wants science-based facts and honesty from leaders on the one hand, but also certainty and simplicity in those messages on the other. Those two are hard to reconcile; real science is messy.
Berenson knows that his histrionic demands for professional opinions to never-change-or-else-they-were-lying-the-first-time, is both unrealistic and anti-scientific, but he also knows that that type of content, inversely but otherwise precisely like the Pollyanna-ish coverage by some other reporters, drives readership and substack subscriptions.

I find it disturbing that the public health “experts” take little interest in natural immunity, which based on the Diamond Princess example should be at about 80%. It is concerning that the mRNA vax tampers with the natural immune system. If you have a strong immune system, the genome manipulating vax should not be needed to fight Covid. And it is increasingly apparent that the vax does not bring about herd immunity.
I resisted believing the idea that the government was trying to get rid of any control groups/unvaxxed. But, as they increasingly target the unvaxxed with medical decrees that are unanchored to reality…the attempt to destroy the choice to remain unvaxxed seems obvious.
Why unanchored to reality? Well, it has been shown that the vaccinated are transmitting the virus. A fully vaxxed submarine crew and a fully vaxxed cruise ship had people being infected. So, an airplane filled with the fully vaxxed is not any safer than a mix of vaxxed and unvaxxed. The only way to be sure is a negative covid test result before boarding and the Trudeau government isn’t proposing that in the Covid No-fly list. Ironically it’s probably the unvaxxed who have acquired natural immunity and they are 7x less likely than the vaxxed to become reinfected with covid. I don’t see how the Trudeau No-fly law survives a court challenge.
It survives a court challenge because our supreme court is a collection of third rate hack lawyers who have been good Librano soldiers for the Party.
The flu shots are not particularly effective either. Some early research had them making people more susceptible to Covid. What is messy about science is that there is a lot of conflicting evidence. Unfortunately, the public health ” experts” choose to deny that and dig in their heels regarding previous pronouncements rather than admitting uncertainty. It is resulting in many damaging policies ( e.g. lockowns which do not appear to do much to reduce deaths, and which create significant social/economic problems.) At this juncture, the public health people are being dishonest about the vaccines, which do not seem to prevent transmission or lead to herd immunity. They are also not forthcoming about the vaccine risks.
It’s the flu shot. Covids going nowhere.

A ‘booster’ shot, eh ? Sounds like more and more proof that Covid-19 is Flu-19.
The impotant part of that thread was the note about ADE. Under normal Phase III trials, any drug that shows signs of causing ADE results in withdrawal. Booster shots will not help, and may even have a more detrimental effect.

I’ve read that the vaccine regime may try to postpone the effects if ADE via repeated booster shots. Call it the medical version of “the hair of the dog that bit you” hypothesis.
If it works, the problem is that these leaky mRNA/DNA vaccines will cause a human version of Mareck’s, where the vaccines cause evolutionary pressure on the disease to evade the vaccines and become more deadly.
If it doesn’t work then ADE will make the vaccinated far sicker, similar to results in previous animal trials using mRNA/DNA vaccine. Death by cytokine storm. Or, the repeated administration of the vaccine causes a plateau of effectiveness much like antibiotic overuse causing antibiotic resistance.
The final scenario is where the effects of the vaccine prompted production of spike proteins, which the Salk institute found to be toxic all on its own, will itself kill the vaccinated via organ failure, stroke, blood clots, cancer, immune system failure or possibly even a prion disorder.
Not to worry, the mRNA produces the spike proteins and then breaks down and disappears.
So why did they think that the mRNA vaccines would be effective against future variants?
If the mechanism to produce the antibodies is gone then any new variant isn’t going to be stopped by them.
Forced yearly or semi annual booster shots for everyone in the country adds up to a lot of money for the pharmaceutical companies.

Worse Than the Disease? Reviewing Some Possible Unintended Consequences of the mRNA Vaccines Against COVID-19
At the highest levels, Covid pandemic is being used to promote a control agenda. At the lower levels (provincial or municipal public health level, people are just following directives that come ftom WHO or Health Canada, CDC, etc, it would surprise me greatly if any of the public health advisors are bothering to do independent investigation of the issues. Provincial people will regularly get directives, recommendations and likely a ( one-sided) rationale for lockdowns, masks, PCR tests and vaccines. Countering a mandate coming from one of these larger agencies would be very hard to do. People like Bonnie what’s her face simply make decisions about how to implement a directive in their own territory. Likely they do not feel they have authority to deviate from the official WHO or CDC- driven policies. Canada ( and other countries) might even be legally bound based on international agreements to follow advice from WHO — and WHO is owned by the pharmaceuticals. I think there is a conspiracy out there, but I don’t believe many people are in on it.
Time to stop calling them vaccines.
