Bodies On The Beach

Where a 10,000 strong army of dead seniors faltered, three offended women may triumph!

New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo is embroiled in the biggest scandal of his career with three women coming forward in the past week to accuse him of sexual harassment in recent years and while he was the state’s chief executive.

Two former officials in the Cuomo administration, Lindsey Boylan and Charlotte Bennett, said Cuomo sexually harassed them on the job, including making romantic and sexual advances in the workplace that made both women feel uncomfortable. Boylan says she resigned in 2018 after Cuomo kissed her on the lips without consent.

And on Monday evening, The New York Times published the account of a third woman, Anna Ruch, who said Cuomo touched her and asked to kiss her at a 2019 wedding. A friend also present at the event took photos of the encounter, which showed Cuomo holding Ruch’s face.

So sayeth the prophesy.

How the Grinch Stole Western Civilization

We warned it would come to this.

SIX Dr Seuss books will stop being published after Joe Biden canceled the author over claims of “racist and hurtful” imagery.

The president skipped a tradition and did not mention Dr Seuss in his Read Across America Day proclamation after the racism claims.[…]

Following the racism claims, the business that preserves and protects the author’s legacy confirmed on Tuesday that production of the books will be seized.

“And to Think That I Saw It on Mulberry Street,” “If I Ran the Zoo,” “McElligot’s Pool,” “On Beyond Zebra!,” “Scrambled Eggs Super!” and “The Cat’s Quizzer” are being pulled from production.

“These books portray people in ways that are hurtful and wrong,” Dr. Seuss Enterprises told The Associated Press in a statement that coincided with the late author and illustrator’s birthday.

“Ceasing sales of these books is only part of our commitment and our broader plan to ensure Dr. Seuss Enterprises’ catalog represents and supports all communities and families,” it said.

When You Complain About The Butter…

Nice University you have there. Be a shame if something happened to it.

Check out the comments on the above link as well.

Background

You know its bad when the rest of the world is talking about it.

Parler

Looks like Parler is back online. It was spotty yesterday but I’ve got a good connection this morning. Anyone else?

Update- now I can’t get in again. Thinking it will happen just will need to be patient. Yes there’s Gab and Locals and a few others out there. At this point we don’t know which one will be the dominant twitter alternative so it’s good to keep an eye on a number of them.

Blogs still work great though!

2nd Update– the full feed is working for me now.

The Power Of No

“Call me whatever you want, I’m not going to participate in this.”

In a recent long-form essay on New Discourses (newdiscourses.com/2020/12/psychopa…totalitarianism/), James Lindsay explained the origins of totalitarianism in a single word: psychopathy. There, he explained that totalitarianism arises from people who cannot cope with reality as it is, and yet who are content to manipulate others, constructing a “pseudo-reality” in service to a vision of the world that serves their needs. That pseudo-reality holds as its North Star a Utopian vision that aligns with artificial resolutions to their inability to cope with reality as it is, and it thereby attracts others who have similar issues. By constructing a false logic (a paralogic) and a false morality (a paramorality) to define and enforce the pseudo-reality, they can gather supporters in a cult-like fashion. In the end, those ensnared lose the ability to distinguish reality and pseudo-reality almost entirely and become functionally psychopathic, and if they gain enough social, cultural, economic, and political power, they can hold hostage entire societies that are, in effect, on the march to totalitarianism and, eventually, total catastrophic collapse.

[…] in this podcast, he begins the process of linking the concept of “ideological pseudo-reality” to more familiar examples, not least Wokeness. Critical Race Theory, for example, is a pseudo-reality that positions racism as the ordinary state of affairs in society, not an immoral aberration from them. Queer Theory is a pseudo-reality in which being normal with regard to sex, gender, and sexuality is a problem while being in some way deviant (which is not the same as being gay or even trans) is elevated as normal. Communism is a pseudo-reality that deems socially engineered command economies as effective and efficient ways to maximize human flourishing. Covid-19 is a pseudo-reality built to enact control around a genuine and serious virus called SARS-CoV-2. These topics and more are presented in this episode of the New Discourses podcast to help people understand and, hopefully, able to see reality for itself again.

Grab a coffee. You’ll recognize much of what he describes immediately.

Speak Of Sir John A MacDonald While You Still Can

Conrad Black;

This encapsulates the current self-induced national moral weakness: nativist advocates think that removing an effigy of the founder of our country and someone who was regarded by his peers in the time of Lincoln, Palmerston, Disraeli, Gladstone and Bismarck as a great statesman is required because of largely unspecified offences in one policy area of his 28 years as head of Canada’s government (the so-called United Province of Canada, and then the Dominion of Canada), and even that would be a mere “gesture.” “Reconciliation” evidently consists of abject self-humiliation by the 95 per cent of Canadians who are not descended from the Indigenous peoples, and we have become so quaveringly enfeebled, we are expected to submit to this.

The First Post National State

All your history belongs to them.

The Ottawa Police Service is investigating a hate-motivated graffiti that occurred on Friday, October 16th at the National War Memorial on Wellington Street.

At approximately 9:46pm, a man riding a bike approached the Memorial, used a sharp object to engrave a hate graffiti on the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. He left the area on the bike.

The suspect is described as Caucasian man. He was wearing a light-coloured sweater, dark pants, a dark tuque, a black back pack and was riding a mountain style bike (see photos).

I don’t know why they’re looking for the vandal. Nothing will happen to him.
