Is Sanity Finally Returning to San Francisco?
Interesting developments out of California’s Northern Weirdopolis:
Facing intense pressure on multiple fronts including school reopenings and a recent decision to halt merit-based admissions at Lowell High School, San Francisco’s school board president on Sunday signaled that the board is pausing controversial efforts to rename 44 district schools.
In an opinion piece published on SFChronicle.com Sunday and in Monday’s print editions, Gabriela López acknowledged mistakes in the process that have resulted in a potential lawsuit and possible recall efforts targeting several board members, including López.

Was #GamerGate a Preview of the 2020-2021 SJW Madness?
On this Sunday morning, I hope you’ll all forgive me for talking about something that is no longer a current issue in the news. Last night I went out for dinner with some close friends and, on the drive home, got in a conversation with a 26 year old friend/colleague about #GamerGate. Unlike me, he has been playing video games for most of his life. So I wasn’t up to speed about this controversy, though had vague memories of it.
My friend posited that #GamerGate was very much a preview of what is going on these days, albeit now on steroids. The SJWs, Cancel Culture, Victim Culture, rampant lying, media cover-up, phony narratives, and deliberate separation of us all by skin colour, sexuality, and gender – none of this is new but merely an amplification of something very ugly & evil that started several years ago.
Here are some brief primers to familiarize yourself with the 2014 #GamerGate controversy:
- The Evidence and History
- Zoe Quinn, Journalism, and Anita Sarkeesian
- Joe Rogan interviews Carl Benjamin
Incidentally, if you ever wanted proof positive of how corrupted Wikipedia has become, look no further than the Gamergate controversy “article”. It’s completely slanted in one direction, entirely written by SJW activists.
Think the Attacks Against Trump are Over?
Much like a rabid dog, the Deep State likely isn’t ready to let go of the prosecution of Trump anytime soon. Even if their attacks continue to be vacuous, keeping the minds of the sheeple distracted from the clear and bizarre performance of 46* is more than worth it to them.

Art Of The Trolski
Briefing by Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova, Moscow, February 4, 2021
We are deeply concerned about the ongoing persecution campaign against participants in the so-called storming of the US Capitol on January 6, 2021, and against anybody at all who does not agree with the results of the latest presidential election. US officials and an obedient media have labelled them “domestic terrorists.” By the way, did the ambassadors of EU countries or EU representatives in the US react in any way? Did they express concern about Washington’s rhetoric regarding its own citizens? No? Too bad.
The FBI has reportedly opened more than 400 criminal cases and applied for more than 500 search warrants and subpoenas for suspects; it has also brought charges against and detained around 200 people. Only several dozen defendants have been released on bail or placed under house arrest. The others are being subjected to harsh pressure, with members of their family and social circle being coerced into giving a “convenient” testimony. Moreover, people who have not even been officially charged are losing their jobs; they are being banned from social media and publicly ostracised.
Among other things, there is a question about the objectivity of the law enforcement agencies because they are essentially acting under orders and in line with the narrative of the current administration who declared the events of January 6, 2021 a riot and everybody who was near the US Congress on that day all but plunderers. Whereas in fact, the majority of those people were ordinary citizens concerned about the situation in their own country. These were 74 million voters who voted for their president and defended their views. I am using the same words that Washington has used with respect to our country.
Their protest will not just go away. You cannot just sweep discontent under the rug. Even the rhetoric that the United States allows itself to use with respect to Russia will not help distract public attention from the country’s own problems. They will have to be dealt with. US citizens deserve to be treated according to the law and in line with Washington’s international obligations. In this context, we have every reason to express concern and demand that basic human rights be observed. US officials are constantly and hypocritically taking care of these rights when it comes to other countries; and yet, they have no scruples in ignoring them at home. Why don’t you deal with your own problems? There are plenty of them and they need to be solved.
We intend to continue monitoring this issue and have a serious talk with Washington.

Green Fools
Natural gas shortages and frozen wind turbines were already curtailing power output when the Arctic blast began knocking generators offline early Monday morning.
The Electric Reliability Council of Texas, or ERCOT, which is responsible for scheduling power and ensuring the reliability of the electrical network, declared a statewide power generation shortfall emergency and asked electricity delivery companies to reduce load through controlled outages.
More than 4 million customers were without power in Texas, including some 1.2 million in the Houston area, the worst power crisis in the state in a decade. The forced outages are expected to last at least through part of Tuesday, the state grid manager said.

One can only imagine that there are Woke Disciples across the world praying for Floridians to die. What a sad & deeply sick new religion.

Just how bad is San Francisco nowadays?
Prior to Covid, San Francisco (SF) certainly had problems but it had a profitable tech sector, fueled by hundreds of thousands of hard working tech workers. Every weekday, morning through night, the city was buzzing with an energetic entrepreneurial energy. Now, almost a year later, what is it like to live in SF?
Independent journalist, Peter Santenello, has been documenting the current state of the city:
He has published some more videos recently which are worth watching:
- Restauranteur Richie Azzolino goes on a walkabout around North Beach (aka Little Italy), providing a very accurate description of the current state of SF and why the problems won’t be fixed until the thinking of the local and state governments dramatically changes.
- An interesting visitor named Kirby, shared some very insightful things about the current state of SF.
Enemy Within the Gates
Yet another reminder of how civil and peaceful our friends on the Left are:
Michael van der Veen, one of the lawyers who defended former President Donald Trump successfully in the Senate impeachment trial, said after the verdict Saturday that his family, home and law practice are “under siege” due to his representation of Mr. Trump.
“My home was attacked. I’d rather not go into it because it would encourage other people to do it more, but you know, I’ve had nearly 100 death threats,” he told reporters. “My home was attacked last night — windows broken, spray paint, really bad words spray-painted everywhere.”
More here. Perhaps on Monday, Jen Psaki will unequivocally denounce such actions … or perhaps she’ll need to “circle back” once more.
Come Work in Minneapolis!
Please come work as a police officer in Minneapolis where our politicians are actively telling our citizens to hate you!
Minneapolis is planning to spend $6.4 million to hire dozens of police officers, at a time when some City Council members and activist groups have been advocating to replace the police department following George Floyd’s death.
The City Council voted unanimously Friday to approve the additional funding that police requested. The department says it only has 638 officers available to work — roughly 200 fewer than usual. An unprecedented number of officers quit or went on extended medical leave after Floyd’s death and the unrest that followed, which included the burning of a police precinct.

Punishing Competence
Florida has been handling Covid in an intelligent manner that balances restrictions with personal and economic freedom. This bothers Beijing Biden and his comrades because it doesn’t fit their narrative. It takes a special kind of stupid to not adjust to the facts on the ground and just dogmatically continue on with what’s not working.
Here are yesterday’s stats:
