So the question…

Are Jared Kushner and the aides in the Whitehouse complete idiots or are they just devoid of brains?

Kushner used it to communicate with top White House officials in early 2017. Kushner’s attorney said the messages totaled fewer than 100 from January through August.
A day later, POLITICO reported that at least five Trump aides used personal email for public business, including Ivanka Trump and Gary Cohn, and that then-Chief of Staff Reince Priebus tried unsuccessfully to stop White House aides’ rampant use of cellphones for official business.

After winning an election in no small part because their opponent held an indifference to operational security, Kushner and the WH aides do the same damn thing.
I mean, you gotta be a grade ‘A’ idiot to do that, tadpole level smarts.

Now Is The Time At SDA When We Juxtapose!

Then: “I would like to challenge every American that is watching this show to treat people better,” said Bennett, speaking at a CNN town hall moderated by Anderson Cooper. “That really is what it’s about. It’s about treating people like human beings. That’s the first step.”
Why, you ask, is Michael Bennett on CNN? For this. He self-identified as a poor black man racially discriminated against by the Las Vegas Police.
Now:

The footage shows a 3-man police team — made up of 2 hispanic officers and 1 black officer — identify Bennett as a suspicious person who did not get down on the ground as ordered during the hotel sweep.
Video shows Bennett crouching and running in the casino before bolting out of a hotel door, jumping over a gate and running to the street.

That’ll show Americans how to treat everyone better, Michael, you lying sack of race bait.

For Your Late Night Listening Pleasure

In this Yank’s latest podcast I tear apart, bit by bit, the article from The Guardian about adjunct professors resorting to prostitution and homelessness to make ends meet. There were SOOOOO many bad decisions they made that put them in that situation, that they only can blame themselves. But it was more shocking how the Guardian presented it as if it were all just “poof” bad luck.

Excuses

One of Trudeau’s excuses for paying out the terrorist Khadr without a court judgement was the amount that the Gov’t had already spent defending their actions.
I guess that means this little girl will be getting a financial windfall pretty soon.

The federal Liberal government has spent more than $110,000 fighting a First Nations girl in court to block payment for orthodontic treatment that cost just $6,000, according to documents released under the Access to Information Act and shared with CBC News.

Up in the air.

I’m a little torn about this story.

While conducting a welfare check, police found Macke’s four children – two 12-year-olds, a 6-year-old and a 7-year-old — alone.
Police discovered that Macke left the U.S. a day earlier and wasn’t set to return until Oct. 1, the Register reported. She did not arrange any supervision for the children, authorities said.

On one hand I firmly believe that two twelve-year old kids should be more than capable of taking care of themselves and two younger children for a week.
On the other hand is the qualification in the previous sentence, should be.
On the gripping hand is the unstated question…how in the heck did a welfare case with four children get the money to go to Europe for a week?

What did you expect?

Trump team plays hardball in NAFTA talks with Buy America demands

The Trump administration proposal calls for boosting the minimum dollar threshold for government projects available for foreign bidders. It would also cap the total amount that Canadian and Mexican companies can receive in American procurement contracts at what U.S. companies get in those countries.

Maybe asking for 20+ States to end their Right to Work laws, or gender equity, indigenous rights and climate change?
Maybe you should try taking the negotiations seriously too, eh, Justin? Because if you eff this up….

Warning Labels

I am at the age where occasionally needing reading glasses has begun to morph into, “Okay…it’s time to go get a prescription for glasses.”
I hate labels.
I hate the 3 point type outlining how the world is going to end if you spill a drop of this on your clothes. Actually that part is just a guess as no known human over the age of 40 can actually read those damned labels.
Now I know where to direct my distaste.
Catt Gallinger is the reason for those labels.

No Debate Allowed

Now we know why the Liberals are killing debate on The Bill to finally break the middle class and call everyone who doesn’t work for the government or large corporations, thieves.
If gov’t talks about it, Canadians will learn more about it and get upset.

“The longer we’re talking about this, the more people are concerned that they will be impacted, which is really raising a fear and not allowing people to be as productive as possible.”

The Stock Market’s IQ is Only 105

short 2.jpg
“To be succinct, the financial markets operate at an IQ of 105. Not dumb, but certainly not smart. But to the untrained (though logical eye), you may view the financial markets as this vast, complex, overly intelligent entity that only Harvard and Ivy league “financial geniuses” can understand. However, if you do, you are over estimating the “intelligence of the market” and therefore going to fail to predict it. This unfamiliarity most people have with financial markets allow people who work in the financial markets to “bluff.” To present a fake front or air about them, making it seem they’re much smarter than they actually are. But if you look at the type of people who compose the financial market system, you’ll see financial markets for what they truly are – a ho-hum, terribly UNimpressive lot.”
