The release of more than 100,000 WhatsApp messages from the British government cabinet members is the most monumental crack in the dam of silence of any government to date. Those who choose to bury their heads in the sand, dismissing this as a “UK problem”, are beyond naive. The messages are very likely emblematic of what occurred in every government around the world that followed the cruel, non-fact based lockdown, mask, and vaccine policies.

Political expediency always seemingly trumps transparency.  What Matt Hancock meant by his protective ring around care homes was really to say that the country was woefully unprepared but we are scrambling around, doing the best we can with limited resources, instead of frankly lying.  This was compounded by dogmatic drowning out of dissenting voices such as The Great Barrington Declaration. The government, therefore, deserves no slack whatsosever.  It imposed utterly draconian controls on the population, ruthlessly enforced by the police to the minutiae, whilst electing to ignore and denigrate respected epidemiologists.  Meanwhile, Hancock played his opt-out Joker card, pleading the love my life, a new relationship gambit.  Tawdry conduct.

Lockdown was comfortably the most spectacularly moronic Public Health policy enacted in recorded history.  A failure that could have been avoided by the basic safety net of a cost-benefit analysis.  Instead we had a government of scientifically illiterate cowards slavishly following popularity polls.  We have a political class composed of liars, charlatans, and dross united in utter and complete ineptitude.  And now we are paying the price:

  • Excess deaths due to the NHS turning itself into a single disease service are now costing far more life years than were ever supposedly saved.
  • Isn’t it typical of Conservatives/Labour that the Covid inquiry is already a very slow running joke.
  • Civil servants names have been blocked out.

The sad fact is our politicians and civil service mandarins are utterly third-rate trash.  We deserve better.

The phone call I mentioned above was with a person who works in the entertainment industry and said they obtained—through connections—vaccination record cards for use by major Hollywood celebrities and others.

These aren’t counterfeits, but actual cards purloined from a hospital pharmacy where the vaccines were sold and included batch numbers but without names attached. In essence, they were contraband.

The person claims to have been inspired to do something for people in the face of forced vaccination after news emerged that the virus might have been the result of a lab leak in Wuhan, China, and that the government had been lying about the pandemic in general.

My interlocutor says they began selling the cards in early April 2021. Between then and early October 2021, calls were apparently coming in every day for contraband cards.

These last three years, too many of us have let social coercion and fear drive what we say out loud, and even what we think. We have outsourced our thinking to self-described experts—credentialed, well-dressed, well-spoken experts—who have been wrong, disastrously so, over and over and over again.

It’s like a bad SNL skit now: The Energy Department, which was previously undecided on the origin of the pandemic, now joins the FBI’s stance that the coronavirus likely spread due to a mishap at a Chinese laboratory, the Wall Street Journal reported, citing a classified intelligence report recently provided to the White House and key members of Congress.


Jonathan Turley: The categorical rejection of the lab theory is only the latest media narrative proven to be false. The coronavirus outbreak brought the world’s attention to the dangers of gain-of-function research. This kind of research occurs when a virus is manipulated to increase its strength or contagiousness—literally, causing it to gain a function.

Dr. Anthony Fauci continues to repeat the talking points of the Chinese Communist Party and insists that SARS-CoV-2 spread from bats to an intermediate host animal, then to humans. A wet market in Wuhan, China, is allegedly where this “spillover” occurred.

Yet according to Chinese officials—who have a big incentive to disprove a laboratory accident—none of the animals at that market when it closed, and none of the animals in its supply chain were infected with SARS-CoV-2. In fact, in roughly three years since the pandemic began, not one animal has been identified that was infected with the virus before it infected humans.

In 2018, EcoHealth Alliance, a New York-based nonprofit organization, applied for funding from the U.S. Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA). In its grant application, EcoHealth proposed inserting a “proteolytic cleavage site” into bat coronaviruses that interact with furin, an enzyme in human cells. However, DARPA rejected that proposal because adding a furin cleavage site would make the coronavirus more lethal in humans.

Only 18 months later, COVID-19 appeared in Wuhan—but nowhere else. Unlike the original SARS virus and the 2013 avian flu, SARS-CoV-2 didn’t spring up in separate geographic regions (as you would expect of a virus circulating in another species). Instead, it spread from a single location and seemed well-adapted from the beginning to spark a once-in-a-century pandemic.

Genetically, the feature that equips the virus to replicate so quickly is a furin cleavage site in its spike protein. Yet no other SARS-related coronavirus has ever been found in nature exhibiting this feature.

As we later learned, the Wuhan Institute of Virology partnered with EcoHealth on another project involving gain-of-function experiments on bat coronaviruses. However, unlike the project DARPA had rejected, this one found a U.S. government agency willing to fund it: Dr. Fauci’s National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases.
