The coronavirus outbreak brought the world’s attention to the dangers of gain-of-function research. This kind of research occurs when a virus is manipulated to increase its strength or contagiousness—literally, causing it to gain a function.

Dr. Anthony Fauci continues to repeat the talking points of the Chinese Communist Party and insists that SARS-CoV-2 spread from bats to an intermediate host animal, then to humans. A wet market in Wuhan, China, is allegedly where this “spillover” occurred.

Yet according to Chinese officials—who have a big incentive to disprove a laboratory accident—none of the animals at that market when it closed, and none of the animals in its supply chain were infected with SARS-CoV-2. In fact, in roughly three years since the pandemic began, not one animal has been identified that was infected with the virus before it infected humans.

In 2018, EcoHealth Alliance, a New York-based nonprofit organization, applied for funding from the U.S. Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA). In its grant application, EcoHealth proposed inserting a “proteolytic cleavage site” into bat coronaviruses that interact with furin, an enzyme in human cells. However, DARPA rejected that proposal because adding a furin cleavage site would make the coronavirus more lethal in humans.

Only 18 months later, COVID-19 appeared in Wuhan—but nowhere else. Unlike the original SARS virus and the 2013 avian flu, SARS-CoV-2 didn’t spring up in separate geographic regions (as you would expect of a virus circulating in another species). Instead, it spread from a single location and seemed well-adapted from the beginning to spark a once-in-a-century pandemic.

Genetically, the feature that equips the virus to replicate so quickly is a furin cleavage site in its spike protein. Yet no other SARS-related coronavirus has ever been found in nature exhibiting this feature.

As we later learned, the Wuhan Institute of Virology partnered with EcoHealth on another project involving gain-of-function experiments on bat coronaviruses. However, unlike the project DARPA had rejected, this one found a U.S. government agency willing to fund it: Dr. Fauci’s National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases.

    1. I was reading an article today with Fauxis name attached that said the vaxxes could not possibly have worked as stated. Golly, I wonder how much play that will get. He lies and it is everywhere as the truth, he tells the truth and no one will see it.

As time went on he got more confident, no bodies in the streets. who knows what he knows about the long term affects. Pushing the vaccine is like a hail Mary pass.

    I didn’t even know what GOF was until Bret Weinstein mentioned it early in 2021 and was a “WTH??” moment for me. Like giving a toddler a loaded .45 to play with and small wonder Obama outlawed it early on in his presidency but Fauci did a workaround.

      There is absolutely NO question this came out of the Wuhan lab.

    If this is still just a “right wing conspiracy theory, where are the 19,000 entries the Wuhan lab are required by law to maintain and allow access to?”

    And let me add … for a single purpose: get rid of President Donald J Trump and the strongest American economy EVER. Why? Because the Russian collusion conspiracy had JUST failed after 3-years of trying. And then it became useful for the great reset. Tear down the economy, spend the government BROKE, and build back better. And forever make the American voting system tainted and fraudulent.

    Not by any stretch of the imagination! Overall death rates reported by all Western countries remained within historical ranges UNTIL the effects of the Cov-vax showed up in mid-summer 2021. If it seemed that Covid-19 was killing large numbers, two factors sprang up in March-May 2020 that fueled the “panicdemic”, followed by one which dampened the fear – the latter unreported because it went contrary to the objective of scaring people into accepting tyrannical regulations.

    First, Covid is a severe flu/cold, and criminal mishandling of the sick (crowding them into “care” homes and hospitals with little or grossly inappropriate treatment resulted in many premature deaths. This highly publicized toll was followed by months of lower than average death rates because, obviously, the vulnerable were already dead. All-causes mortality rates in every country that keeps reliable records show no alarming change in their annual death rates.

    “Pandemic” is an exaggeration of what Covid-19 actually amounts to, and the tyrant/panicmongers pulled off another multi-billion dollar scam.

To win votes, our dear leaders have agreed to basically promise us “free” health care, that is, payed for by our tax dollars, meaning it is not free. However, as they always do, they promised more than they can deliver. Thus they promised, basically, that if we only pay infinite money, we will live forever, saying things like “X is the leading cause of death, and we can prevent/cure it” when old age is the leading cause of death. But all those old people cost the government a lot more than the taxes are giving them, so, they decided to off the old people. As many of them as possible. Previously the leading cause of death in “rest homes” was certain “painkillers”, but that was just killing them off retail, crowding in Covid cases was killing them off wholesale, more efficient, quicker.

      Meanwhile, the “rest homes” (warehouses) also wished to actually make money, and caring for old people just wasn’t profitable, or profitable enough, so, just off the old people. And the drug companies made off like bandits because they had a cozy relationship with the government where the government mandated the basically useless (now that the virus has mutated, completely useless) Vax, and mandated it’s use. Imagine making a product that you can assure you can sell, you don’t even have to advertise it because the government does that for you, you can make a harmful product and the government will protect you, and the government will pay for it so the cost is shielded from the consumer so you can jack the price up and no one will notice.

      And the phrase “a once-in-a-century pandemic”, that is simply false. The numbers I have seen say that the Spanish Flue was at least twenty times more lethal, and that is not even counting that the number of deaths from Covid is grossly exaggerated. In fact, merely a decade or so ago “excess deaths” (everyone dies eventually, the ratio is one to one) was higher than with Covid with another flue which received no hype (Covid is just a flue with advertising behind it). Meanwhile, the Spanish Flue mutated, as all viruses do, into a more infectious but far less deadly form and became just another common cold or flue, just as Covid has already done. Most “Covid cases” nowadays are Omicron or variants, symptoms so mild they are just the common cold.

  15. Pandora’s Box has been opened!!!The world and all can thank the Wuhan Lab and mad scientists like Faucci ! Gain of Function was designed in my opinion to study viruses not to create new ones! The protein spikes are 2- 3 thousand years now ahead of our immune systems!

    1. It matters not how much is known, nothing and I mean nothing, will be done. People should be charged with crimes against humanity and they are not and will not be charged.
