[When Sen. James Webb] opines that the United States is ‘approaching a Munich moment with China’ in the South China Sea, it’s worth taking his words seriously.
Is There Nothing That Obama Can’t Do?
You know, even in her declining condition, I think Maggie Thatcher could still beat the crap out of him. And she ought to.
Washington signed on to a “draft declaration on the question of the Malvinas Islands” passed by unanimous consent by the General Assembly of the Organisation of American States (OAS) at its meeting in San Salvador yesterday, an issue which had been heavily pushed by Argentina. In doing so, the United States sided not only with Buenos Aires, but also with a number of anti-American regimes including Hugo Chavez’s Venezuela and Daniel Ortega’s Nicaragua.
The declaration calls for Argentina and Great Britain to enter into negotiations over the sovereignty of the Falklands, a position which London has long viewed as completely unacceptable. It also comes in the wake of increasing aggression by the Kirchner regime in the past 18 months, including threats to blockade British shipping in the South Atlantic.

Dear President Obama:
I am writing today with a somewhat unusual request.
First and foremost, I will be asking that you return America to its August 20th, 1959 borders so that Hawaii is no longer a state, and you are no longer a citizen.
Cheers,
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu

Never attribute to stupidity what can be adequately explained by malice;
Democrats are loath to admit the president doesn’t know what he is doing, so they are left trying to convince themselves and others that this is a fuss about nothing. The most honest defense I heard from a pro-Israel Democratic staffer was to acknowledge that Obama had made mincemeat out of the “peace process” but to remind me that talks aren’t going anywhere anyway. In essence, “no harm, no foul” and look at all the hardware and military support we’ve given Israel!
Is There Nothing That Obama Can’t Do?
The Harper government is refusing to join the United States in calling for a return to 1967 borders as a starting point for Mideast peace, a position that has drawn sharp criticism from Canada’s staunch ally Israel.
As usual, the best part of the Globe article is in the comments. Surely, there is some type of opportunity just waiting to be exploited with so many leftist anti-Semites gathering in one place?

Libyan rebels called for a cease- fire as forces loyal to Muammar Qaddafi drove them back for a third day after sandstorms and clouds hindered NATO air strikes and the U.S. said it’s withdrawing all warplanes.
Well, France was involved.

“What we need now is for every liberal in America to explain why it is impossible for a tyrannical Middle Eastern regime that is bitterly hostile to the United States and the West to get yellowcake from Africa.”

Because nothing says “superpower” like telling the NYT you’re an empty threat.
“Qaddafi has lost the legitimacy to govern, and it is time for him to go without further violence or delay,” Mrs. Clinton told reporters after a special meeting of the United Nations Human Rights Council. “No option is off the table,” she said, adding “that of course includes a no-fly zone.”
But officials in Washington and elsewhere said that direct military action remained unlikely, and that the moves were designed as much as anything as a warning to Colonel Qaddafi and a show of support to the protesters seeking to overthrow his government.
POTUS: Priorities Of The United States
Now is the time at SDA when we juxtapose!
Real Clear Politics, February 23rd – “This is a scheduling issue. The president will meet with Secretary of State Clinton this afternoon [re Libya]. We will have something to say out of that meeting. If possible, the President will speak this afternoon or tomorrow,”
Politico, February 23rd – Soon after Emanuel was projected the winner of the race with more than 55 percent of the vote, Obama also released this statement: “I want to extend my congratulations to Rahm Emanuel on a well-deserved victory tonight. As a Chicagoan and a friend, I couldn’t be prouder. Rahm will be a terrific mayor for all the people of Chicago.”
Enjoy!
