It would make me even happier if this bumper sticker appeared on a Subaru from California.

I would suggest that poverty has already trickled up to the extent that the American economic and industrial powerhouse is in the process of being eclipsed.
I really think you should obscure the license plate in the photo.
Note that its on a VW TDI, which gets better mileage than a Prius but can’t get a HOV-lane sticker.

Obama Labor Boss Buys Canadian-Built Car
Says purchase was to show support for American workers

To show her support for American workers, President Obama’s labor secretary, Hilda Solis, has junked the standard black limo and purchased a new Chevrolet Equinox to ride around Washington in. The problem: the crossover SUV is built and assembled in Canada from parts also made in Canada.
Solis proudly arrived at a media breakfast hosted by the Christian Science Monitor today in the shiny silver vehicle, which she has dubbed the “bullet.” She was asked about why she traded the standard-issue limo for the SUV. “What better example could I set if I encouraged my staff to go and purchase and seek how we could acquire a vehicle that would for me would send a signal that we’re for supporting our American workers, American-made products, fuel efficient as well,” she told the Monitor’s Dave Cook.
Solis added that she was inspired to buy the Chevy because of the pride she saw in American auto workers during trips to U.S. car and truck plants. She said that she was wowed by “the pride that they take making our automobiles here in America.”
The car is made at two Canadian plants and has been so popular that General Motors has been hiring more workers in Canada to keep up with demand.

This administration may not be good for the US economy, but, you have to admit, they have done the best they can for Canada’s. First Obama’s buses and now the Labor Secretary’s car.

I read that GM turned 3 billion dollar profit in the first quarter.
Was in Detroit yesterday street level, for most of the day and didn’t see any signs of sharing.
Skin colour aside, Detroit has better character of persons than I had realised before coming back to the Windsor side.
Windsor the giggles of giddy school girls and obvious homo’s, expressing themselves, at the back of the bus and Via station that hadn’t been cleaned in three months inside or out and at least 7 out of ten passengers neither black or white or able to communicate in either official language?
funny note; as I stood at the front of one the Detroit buses it occurred to me that all the blacks were at the back of the bus. My destination was Rosa Parks Station.: I
I really didn’t feel out of place there, even though I saw only two other white people besides myself all afternoon even with the sense of where’s the lunatic, amongst all the friendly’s.
U.S. border protection were the only real threatening and rude people I encountered all day.
