  1. Telephone ringing in Offal Office.
Obummer answers “Hullo ..uh, ..uh, stop, yes withdraw yes, of course right away Mr. Soros”. click
Obummer speaking “Now where is Mr Telepromter?”

  2. I gather Gaddafi said he won’t start up the chemical factory at Rabta.
Nothing like a little sarin, and saman nerve gas in the hands of Al Qaeda or some such…or did the Nato birds bomb the living daylights out of that facility while they had the chance?
CJunk has an interesting interview up with Laura Ingram:

I gather we’ll see a number of rebel hangings in short order as the Obama-Nation(tm) turns tail…
    Welcome to April Fool’s!!
    Cheers
Hans-Christian Georg Rupprecht, Commander in Chief
    1st Saint Nicolaas Army
    Army Group “True North”

  3. Let me get this straight….. The side we are helping has just distributed chemical and nerve gas arms to Al Qaeda and other terrorist groups to be used soon against us and our friends, the Israelis. Way to go Europe! Way to go Obama! And saddest of all..Way to go Harper! We need to get the hell out NOW.

  4. It doesn’t matter who wins in Libya, it’s still going to be muslim cesspool of tyranny and poverty and hatred of the West.
There is no reason for us to be interfering with any of it. I agree with Kate, “get our pilots out of there”.
Before O-bomb-a got involved it was shaping up to be a great show. The Romans had it right. They used to bring these sorts of wogs to Rome to kill each other in the arena. We can watch it at home in High Def on wide screens … how cool is that?
Besides, compared to what will no doubt replace him, we will wish KaDaffy was back in charge.

  5. Was there ever a clear mandate in this thing? We hate Gaddafi, we tolerate him, we hate him again. We prop up people who will likely attack us when they are through with Gaddafi.
    What a mess!

  6. One of reason Harpre government lose
    UN seat because
he did too much listen to US and Israel blindly without knowing each plan will caused how much dead on floor
Harper still does not get it
what is going on in Middle east
or may be he never will get he run out of time now
complexity of middle east conspiracy of middle east from both sids and number of innocnet may die because of wrong decision
qaddafi is old and not left too much time to see those blood shit he could die soon in old age and then change his rejim easier without him was easier than with him
The plan was not to get rid of Qadafi as they already said by US army man
the plan was to identify good Muslim and kill them by Qadafi hands
    under name of alqada
Those jet went and bomb few places by US and Canada army to kill army men inside that tanks
if Qadafi is bad then why he still there
if he is good why they fight with him
that was only plan to identify good muslim to kill them
this plan was did already in Iran and Iraq
that good came believe real revolution is going to happend
those get identify by kill them by shah and other new rejim
that way we always has bad guy around politic
you can not interfer in a country and
run and go by car or jet
now like scientist in IRan now take each side deal with inside Iran or outside Iran to beat them up to scare scientist do not help Iran so as not help out of iran too all is conspiracy theory in middle east
nobody give right advice in middle east to listen to them
some only enjoy when muslim kill other muslims with their dirty plan to made nonmuslim look good and them look bazare

  7. I agree with Mr. Sullivan that our intervention in an Arab civil war, without a clear idea of what the political and economic outcome would be if our . . . clients . . . were to win, or even of who is leading “our side” in the fray, is madness. However, for sheer stupidity, Mr. Sullivan’s notion that Libyan civilians would be protected by the enforcement of a no-fly zone is hard to beat. Artillery, tanks, and small arms can do a fine job of mass murder, without needing air cover; in fact, as the history of pre-modern wars (think the utter destruction of Carthage by the Romans), not to mention more recent events in places like Rwanda, demonstrate that primitive bladed weapons are quite sufficient for the task.

  8. I’m now leaning heavily toward the bomb -both- sides argument.
    I agree.
Since we’re already bombing the Libyan side, it’s time to bomb the French.
Let’s shoot down some of the Mirages with French pilots too.

  9. Why don’t we drop Justine “pee pee pants” Turdeau behind enemy lines so he can report if there is any barbaric acts going on or if they are just unacceptable. Then bomb both sides, and the French and then get the hell out. Justine can stay.

  10. I think there will be boots on the ground soon. Obozo will claim humanitarian or strategic reasons, but basically he’s getting dissed and he doesn’t like it.

  11. Well when you say that you’re never going to put boots on the ground, all Daffy has to do is wait you out…
    What a waste of time.

  12. A lot is made about the politics of the region but I have seen very little on the root cause. The increased price of food. We saw the demonstration but there are a lot of hungry people behind them.
If you are hungry you will support anyone that feeds you.

If that is true, then K-Daffy must be pretty stupid to have not simply subsidized food costs for his people.
Instead he’s having his military stripped of many expensive weapons systems, paying mercenaries $2000/day, and having his cities/towns ruined.
Oh, and he’s been marked for assassination by NATO, can’t forget that bit.
I think it’s more likely that Islamists are behind this.

  14. Sue for peace/ceasefire.
    All the French, American, British,
(Canadian) ships and aircraft go home.
Tell the world how happy you are with your wonderful Arab rebel brothers.
Family photos, dancing in the streets together, then pass out candy.
    Wait a couple of months,
then hang all their Rebel asses.
    K-Daffy has a plan.

  15. Oz that’s what the Saudis did. In Egypt a lot of people were helped by the Muslim Brotherhood. Other governments thought that was ok and why not? Then it spread. I don’t put Libya in the same boat as Egypt, fundamentalism I think is stronger there and the society is weaker. That makes it more susceptible to the radicals.
The only reason for the West to be there is to prevent the terrorists from getting WMD as far as I am concerned

  16. It all boils down to the west’s insulated and propagandized understanding of what culture really means.
Couple that basis with faith in our western government’s intentions, and a legitimate, and forgivable ignorance of the global multilevel chess game played by these same governments and their corporate sponsors.
We in taxpayer North America land only need to stay focused on the fact that everyone from our governments, to the Third World, to Europeans & the EU/ UN, Russia & China do not have OUR best interests at heart.
They play a confusing game of Global Monopoly using us as the piggy bank on one front, and a game winning prize on another.
Our job of cultural and economic survival is to say no to them all and maintain our sovereignty in every way we can. We are both resource and culturally rich, if we traded the world’s needs with our goods fairly through a tight and protective doorway, they will trade, and they will sort out their own problems, eventually.

Historically, K-Daffy and his cohort(that cohort is leading the rebels right now) were radicallized by the Muslim Brotherhood to overthrow Libyan King Idris in the first place.
The rebels are fighting under the flag that Idris gave to Libya.
The black center field of the flag has the crescent moon and star.(al Qaeda, which is an arm of the Muslim Brotherhood, has a black flag)
To think that the Muslim Brotherhood is behind the revolution in Libya after taking over Egypt isn’t a stretch at all and in all probability is quite likely.

  18. The Libyan army is reported now to be driving around in cars & technicals just like the rebels. Nato aircraft can’t tell if they are friend or foe. Who would have thought the Libyan army could be so creative?
