  1. “….who also claims that women are a “gender minority.”
She needs to take that up with the trans-gender community.

  2. To be very serious, the problem is these women have nothing REAL to do. They beg for direction and the only thing that is remotely close to it is Sharia Law, that’s why they are drawn to it. Mommy is not around now to put another DVD into the machine, they don’t like gaming, their dad had nothing to do with them growing up and was probably a total wimp. This is what we are left with, piles of useless women preaching how they are the victims.

  3. Here in the construction industry, I constantly hear from women who feel they aren’t being taken seriously … every woman; from female clients, to female engineers/architects, to female tradespeople … feel they aren’t taken seriously in a “man’s business”. What many of these women fail to acknowledge is that construction is (mostly) a no-bullshittt industry. Directions and opinions tend to ONLY be taken seriously when they are grounded in fact and truth if not expediency. Interior designers who prattle on about the proper Feng-sui of a light fixture placement are usually received with an unimpressed answer of … “so where do you want me to install the damn thing”. Such a terse response isn’t “sexist” … it is endemic to the job. Similarly, when a 24yo female Architect lectures a 55yo General Contractor about the proper way to install a waterproof membrane … she is likely to receive significant blowback. What she doesn’t understand is that a 24yo male would receive the same stick for the same reason. Anyone, male or female, with an unearned chip on their shoulder is going to get taken down a peg.
I suppose a young female offffff color T.A. who feels she isn’t being taken seriously in a course … which itself isn’t a serious subject matter … probably has no argument since the entire endeavor is … imaginary.

  4. “…gender minorities like women.”
Yes, they’re sometimes only 49 percent of a given population group.
Besides, if “gender” is no longer biologically determined, who the hell knows what the stats are?
We are now whatever we say we are: this week a woman, next week a man, the week after a transgendered thingummy.

  5. When you complain about a new window that draws wind when it shouldn’t and the lady answering the phone asks you if it is a physical problem… well

  6. That everydayfeminism website is like a downward spiral into mental illness. And mental institutions need to be brought back to house these new feminist ideologues.

  7. While at a construction site a few months ago I watched a couple of young men pick up a heavy steel flange and carry it up stairs. They let everyone know it was heavy as they grunted their way up complaining that it wasn’t fair that there was no elevator. As I watched them I wondered how many women it would have taken to move that same flange and how long it would take them. Of course I was thinking of it in terms of money since there is only so much money that can be paid to install the flange how much would each participant in installing the flange get men vs women. And how much per hour since the guys had the flange to the top of the stair in just over a minute. Doing the math: Assuming it would have taken at least 4 women to move the flange the women would have earned half of what the men earned because it took twice the number of women to do the job.

  8. I HIGHLY DOUBT that ANY transgendered, roided, ex-female state wrestling champion turned TRANS-firefighter … will be able to drag my ass out of a burning building. Therefore, I have self-insured with state of the art Smoke-detector – CO detector ALARMS. I figure my taxes will just be WASTED on shims social experimentation.

  9. My thirteen year old son came home the other day telling us about how he had a SJW substitute social studies teacher for the day who was going on about how evil Trump was and the gender pay gap. My son told her she was full of crap on the gender pay gap and apparently he managed to reduce her to tears before the class was over. I was so proud of him. There is hope for the future yet.

  10. Minuteman, your son’s found his balls early in his life.
Dude. Good job as a father.

  11. As a part-time adjunct faculty instructor of no status whatsoever I can assure you that the pay is the same for all. It’s not much, but then, the job does not involving milking Jersey cows at 0400 (my boyhood), being shot at for even less (Viet-Nam), or herding junior high school students (my thirties). Some students will never like some instructors; they don’t have to. Further, my best students are dual-credit high school kids; the thirty-somethings, men and women both, are princesses (I mean that in the worst way).

  12. The feminist reply would be that the flange to be transported upstairs should have been designed to be in two pieces that were easily carried up the stairs and assembled at the final location, and there might be some truth to that retort. The costs for handling parts take a dramatic leap once they require mechanised assistance to move an object in any location. Good engineers try to design parts that can be manhandled or require minimal mechanical assistance if they can’t be.

  13. Joe: “Assuming it would have taken at least 4 women to move the flange the women would have earned half of what the men earned because it took twice the number of women to do the job.”

Sorry, no. The feminist reply would be: “Who cares?”
Feminism – like so much of what passes for political ideology these days – is a wholly middle class preoccupation, possibly even an upper middle class one. Feminists aren’t concerned about equality of opportunity in any work involving hard labour; they want to be top executives and government leaders.
