  1. Better yet, record the conversation. Foolish us, thinking you work for the people

  2. I agree, Canadians shouldn’t accept it but what can we do about it as a Conservative? Nothing. Latest polls have the Libs well ahead of the Conservatives and our electoral system is balanced toward Central and Eastern Canada. That arrangement will never change. I often wonder how Sask and Alberta did not see that coming back in 1905.

The coming economic collapse will change everything, but our ‘Conservative’ party may not benefit from it, since they are partly responsible for it.

last big time Cdn involvement Korea, where once again our guys carried far more than their weight.
betcha most of them just gritted their teeth, kept their head down a wanted it to be over.
they were there with little choice of their own. draft dodgers treated like child molesters.

anyways, to belabour the point, l think ABSK is in a roughly similar sit’n, ie *circumstances* largely dictating the present configuration *for their generation*, and the deep seated wishes of the people of ABSK a far far distant second place factor.
what will it *take* for western separation?
    l leave the question standing.
