With a Jew hating, totalitarian party to vote for;
Mindful of its lopsided electoral triumph in Egypt, which has been so enthusiastically welcomed by the Obama administration and top Democratic emissary John Kerry, the Muslim Brotherhood has announced plans to submit the Camp David Accords — the treaty that has kept the peace between Egypt and Israel for over 30 years — to a popular vote.

What could POSSIBLY go wrong.
Arab Spring Break…Jihadists Gone Wild..Wooooo!!!
The best policy is too instigate mayhem in the Arab world, inflict Shia revenge on Sunni hatred, get the savages so wound up messing each other they will not have the time to cause problems for the civilized world.
And we can make some money selling them weapons and ammunition.
Then, when the nutters, whackos and idiots that make up the MB can’t feed their own people, the resulting mass starvation means there be a chance the people will wake up and realize that religious fanatics make terrible national leaders.
Do Egyptians really want to lose another war? Probably. They’ve got lots of kids to spare. We might actually see the almost unheard of scenario of one democracy fighting another. Next time the Israelis have to beat them so badly that they demand peace on any terms. Japan and Germany got the message.
Yet U. S. opinion polls still show a large majority of American Jews planning to vote for Obama . . . how can such a smart demographic be simultaneously so dumb politically?
the best is yet to come in the Egyptian ‘arab winter’,let the beatings begin…
(Al-Masry Al-Youm) — An Islamic preacher on Sunday called for the formation of a ministry to implement the teachings of Islam in schools, hospitals and in the street, similar to religious police in other countries.
During an appearance on Al-Hayat satellite channel, Sheikh Youssef al-Badry supported the idea, saying, “The promotion of virtue and prevention of vice is the job of prophets.”
He said that those who do so are “praised by God and those who do not are cursed.”
Badry said he was imprisoned for one year under former President Anwar Sadat after returning from Saudi Arabia because he secretly formed such a committee.
Badry said he submitted a proposal to the government to establish the ministry. He also said he discussed the formation of a group for the promotion of virtue and the prevention of vice with ousted President Hosni Mubarak and secured his support.
I have no problem with there being a popular vote.
It’s too bad that there wasn’t one when it was first signed (the same can be said for the Euro) – it would have probably failed but it also would have been a democratic action at a time when the Arab world was from corner to corner lead by dictators of one form or another. A vote the. Would have gone a long way to weakening the radical Islamists at a time when they were much smaller than they are now.
Why don’t Jews vote for the Republicans who freed the slaves instead of the Democrats of the Klan. Since they are disproportionally capitalists, why don’t they vote for the capitalist Republicans instead of the current incarnation of Democrats who are clearly socialist. Why don’t they vote for Republicans who are unconditional supporters of Israel instead of the Democrats who would just as soon play kissy-face with the Arabs. Lemmings.
it won’t be long before ‘bama steps in to ‘end the violence’ in yet another country…by aiding the muslim insurgents as he prefers…boko haram likely believes, and rightly so, that they will soon benefit from a ‘no-fly’ zone and aid packages if the government ever takes concrete steps against them.
(CNN) — The militant Islamist group Boko Haram has issued an ultimatum giving Christians living in northern Nigeria three days to leave the area amid a rising tide of violence there.
A Boko Haram spokesman, Abul Qaqa, also said late Sunday that Boko Haram fighters are ready to confront soldiers sent to the area under a state of emergency declared in parts of four states by Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan on Saturday.
“We will confront them squarely to protect our brothers,” Abul Qaqa said during a telephone call with local media. He also called on Muslims living in southern Nigeria to “come back to the north because we have evidence they will be attacked.”
Recent weeks have seen an escalation in clashes between Boko Haram and security forces in the north-eastern states of Borno and Yobe, as well as attacks on churches and assassinations. Nearly 30 people were killed on Christmas Day at a Catholic church near the federal capital, Abuja — a sign that Boko Haram is prepared to strike beyond its heartland.
Human rights activist Shehu Sani told CNN that the latest Boko Haram threat is credible, but many Christians born and raised in the north have nowhere else to go.
“The killings will continue,” he said, and Boko Haram may respond to the state of emergency by taking its campaign of violence to areas not yet affected.
and continuing with the new definition of ‘democracy’…don’t forget that aid money from the West pays his salary…

Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas recently appointed as an advisor one of the security prisoners released in exchange for Gilad Schalit this past October.
Muhammad Darma, who was the commander of the Palestinian Authority Presidential Guard security unit Force 17 under Yasser Arafat, was imprisoned in Israel for six years for involvement in a terror attacks.
Darma’s new position in the Palestinian Authority will be as advisor to the PA president on municipal affairs.
Darma was arrested in 2006 near Ramallah for his involvement planning in terrorist attacks that killed Israelis. During Operation Defensive Shield at the height of the Second Intifada in 2002, he was believed to have personally fired an RPG at an IDF tank.

Yup, put a legitimate stamp in Egypt’s next war with Is real. Mean while the Muslims President in the US, is interfering in Syria to cause yet another Islamist regime to grow like a poisonous plant. How many more radical regimes will Obama change from being nominal dictatorships into full blown Sharia run madhouses? Hes surrounding Israel with so called Arab spring fanatics bent on its destruction.
How many Nations now has Obama caused to become Radical jihadist war machines? Yet folks still think hes only a socialist lol.
At least the dolphins are still here. When they start to sing “so long, and thanks for all the fish” it’ll be time to worry.
Oh yes, that’s a *real* threat to Israel and its however-many-hundred nukes. I hate the Brotherhood as much as the next guy, but really, why should I care what happens over there? Because of WWII and the Holocaust? Why should I continue to dump another 200 billion of my extorted tax dollars into Israel and its enemies?
Please; this only shows how yesterday’s liberals have become today’s conservatives. We have our own race to defend (yes, neo-cons, I said it), our own country to look after, our own massive debt to repay. Let’s focus on that.
can you imagine being a regluar joe egyptian right now? let alone the christians and women and jews…just think of a regular hard working egyptian man or woman just doing there thing. and al of a sudden this sh!t happens?
I genuinly fell sorry for them but unfortunatly , like all of you i am worried about my own bacon here i don’t have much time to prepare for this and i don’t have alot of money either.
I wouldl iek to say something here. Alot of people think micheal savage is a nut case how ever i have read almost all of his books and i listen to his radio show and yes on a few …very few subject’s he is a little out there but all in all i know i could trust him with my money ,my daughter,my dog,my wife,my car , so on and so forth. his latest book really shocked me to see the blatant corruption in all aspect’s of the u.s. govornment it is very scary to see the apathy congress display’s for joe public. I n his most recent book trickle up poverty i cannot see how the u.s. and canada and the world are not headed for another world war ..this war will actually end all wars or it will end the world period. I think people shold read it , it is quite real very accurate and frightneing to see what is actually going on in the u.s. govornment from country to state to federal you name it .
Because most American Jews are SECULAR Jews; they’re liberals FIRST, and Jewish only as an afterthought.
This time, neither the Soviets or the US will stop the IDF from entering Cairo.
Should a Muslim Brotherhood/Salafi controlled Egypt make the mistake of attacking, or even appear to be about to attack Israel… well shortly thereafter, what remains will be a Coptic Christian Egypt.
They should add that to their referendum on whether to support the Camp David Peace Accord.

how can such a smart demographic be simultaneously so dumb politically?
Bastiat Fan
What the above said plus the sickness both America & Canada suffer from. We want to be loved by the World.
Seen as the good guys at our own expense & culture, if not freedom.

“…how can such a smart demographic be simultaneously so dumb politically?”
The collective mental illness of the left is just that, a mentally ill.
The lessons learned by the suicidal American Jews, are why we don’t let the remainder of the Canadian left demographic have any prominent decision making on our behalf. Left unchecked they’ll kill us all eventually.

IQ does not equate to common sense. Liberalism is a mindset. ALSO, some people will never admit that they were WRONG.

BINGO
we’ve been so conditioned by the liebrals and the moonbat media to believe ‘the West is evil’ that we’re willing to do anything, any stupid thing at all, to mollify an enemy…yes, an ENEMY..whose publically stated vow is to kill everyone who doesn’t convert to their religion, regardless of how long it takes or how many of their own people they kill in the process…
the moonbat mind is incapable of realizing that islamist fundamentalists don’t think like they do and they’re not interested in anything sociology 101 says or anything they learned singing kumbaya around a campfire…
islamists are willing to kill 100 of their own to get one infidel…to them the score just changed by one in their favour since the death of a believer doesn’t make any more unbelievers but the death of an unbeliever is one down and that’s the only total they’re interested in…not social justice, not universal harmony, not improved standard of living, not sharing wealth, not providing for the health and education of anyone, only the killing of everyone that doesn’t convert…period…and the moonbats and liebrals don’t realize that they’re on the list to be killed as well…after their usefulness has run out, but inevitably…no 1st year sociology student has the life experience to realize that but a 5 year old islamist knows..it’s all he’s ever been taught.
Time for Israel to start shining up that big plutonium-plated flush handle for the Aswan Dam.
If the MB can disavow the Accord this will seal the pressure valve that has allowed ‘stability’ in the ME for the last thirty years. Without the Accord the other Arab states can advance against Isreal without the prospect of having to counter the Egyptian Arabs. There will be no time or perhaps no inclination for the Free World to send in the universal soldier to re-establish peace. The Americans are abdicating their role as a global policeforce, the Brits, Canucks, Aussies and Kiwis cannot fill the void and the MB know this. The French cannot be counted upon and the Germans, well what can you say about them. Isreal is on the threshold of an Apocalypse and no-one can do a damned thing about it. When the Arab States move against Isreal you can bet the radical Muslim immigrants in the aforementioned countries will cause enough pandemonium to ensure that there will be no intervention!
There goes the neighbourhood.
” … submit … to a popular vote.”
Hmmm. ‘Wonder what that will mean? Popular with whom? The Muslim Brotherhood?
I’m filled with confidence.

“When the Arab States move against Isreal you can bet the radical Muslim immigrants in the aforementioned countries will cause enough pandemonium to ensure that there will be no intervention!”
Actually the net result is that the arabs no longer can rely on either the USSR or NATO to intervene on their behalf. One has ceased to exist and both are now paper tigers anyhoo.
The arabs are a little cocky because they now have late 80’s-early 90’s weapon systems that they cannot maintain or properly deploy. The IDF which is nearly as up-to-date as NATO or the Russians with innovative, locally produced systems.
The winning edge is the ability to repair and maintain the modern systems under fire. The arabs have no such capability.
Compare the 2 camps….on the one hand are literate, well trained techs…on the other hand iliterate goofs unable to read a manual if they did have one.
Remember that the MB government exists at the moment on the sufferance of the Army. The Egyptian army is no more interested in a war with Israel than the Mubarak regime was. If the MB pushes this agenda too far, they may just be asking for a military coup.
didn’t biden just say that the taliban wasn’t the enemy ?
DERA ISMAIL KHAN, Pakistan (AP) — Prominent al-Qaida and Afghan Taliban fighters asked Pakistani militants in a pair of rare meetings to set aside their differences and step up support for the battle against U.S.-led forces in Afghanistan, militant commanders said Monday.
The meetings were held in Pakistan’s tribal region in November and December at the request of the Afghan Taliban’s leadership council. They could indicate the militants are struggling in Afghanistan, or conversely, that they want to make sure they hit U.S. forces hard as the Americans accelerate their withdrawal this year. That could give the Taliban additional leverage in any peace negotiations.
“For God’s sake, forget all your differences and give us fighters to boost the battle against America in Afghanistan,” senior al-Qaida commander Abu Yahya al-Libi told Pakistani fighters at a meeting on Dec. 11, according to a militant who attended.
Pakistani militants have long been split over where they should focus their fighting. The Pakistani Taliban have concentrated on toppling their own government, although they have sent some fighters to Afghanistan. Other Pakistani groups based in the tribal region have almost exclusively directed their attacks against foreign forces in Afghanistan.
The Pakistani Taliban, an umbrella organization set up in 2007 to represent roughly 40 insurgent groups, has also been split by infighting over turf and leadership positions after commanders were killed by the Pakistani military and U.S. drone strikes.
The group has fractured into more than 100 smaller factions, a process that some analysts have suggested would take a toll on militants fighting in Afghanistan by making it increasingly difficult for them to find recruits, as well as restricting territory in Pakistan available to them.
Pakistani Taliban chief Hakimullah Mehsud attended the two meetings on Nov. 27 in Wana, the main town in South Waziristan, and Dec. 11 in the Datta Khel area of North Waziristan, Pakistani Taliban spokesman Ehsanullah Ehsan told The Associated Press.
Other prominent Pakistani militant leaders who attended included Mehsud’s deputy, Waliur Rehman, and two commanders who have focused on fighting in Afghanistan, Maulvi Nazir and Gul Bahadur, Ehsan said. Also there was Sirajuddin Haqqani, an Afghan militant based in North Waziristan who leads one of the most feared groups fighting in Afghanistan.
The Afghan Taliban fighters at the meetings included Zabiullah Mujahid, a well-known spokesman, and Maulvi Sangin, who claims to have custody of U.S. Army Pvt. Bowe R. Bergdahl, captured in Afghanistan in 2009.
The four Pakistani commanders and Haqqani agreed to form a council to resolve differences, said two Pakistani Taliban commanders who attended the meetings. They spoke on condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the issue.
A pamphlet handed out in North Waziristan over the past two days announced the formation of the five-member committee, saying it was established in consultation with the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, the name given to the country by the Taliban. It called on Pakistani militants to coordinate with each other and “avoid unwarranted killings and kidnappings for ransom.”
“If any holy warrior is found involved in an unjustified murder or crime, he will be answerable to the committee and could face Islamic punishment,” said the pamphlet, a copy of which was obtained by the AP.
Al-Libi, the al-Qaida commander, asked the Pakistani militants to provide additional fighters to the Afghan Taliban in March, when the snow melts from the passes connecting Pakistan and Afghanistan and the spring fighting season begins.
Ehsan, the Pakistani Taliban spokesman, said the militants agreed, but that did not mean the group would end its fight against the Pakistani government.
“We will continue our jihad against Pakistani security forces,” Ehsan pledged.
Gee, how could this be a problem?
Mubarak kept an uneasy peace with the Israelis and the Americans. If it suits Egypt to go to war with Israel now- though it means its definite destruction- that is what it will do.
The Brotherhood are mad SOBs, not necessarily intelligent ones.
@ Osumashi Kinyobe
“The Brotherhood are mad SOBs, not necessarily intelligent ones.”
We were so happy to destroy all the dictators we previously considered friends to stay on the politically correct side. History will show how stupid this was. As far as Obama is concerned, he is not the brightest bulb in the chandelier either and some of his key advisors have no idea what they are doing.
Peterj, if Obama does indeed know what he is doing, he is unleashing war in a region prone to it. If he doesn’t, he is unwittingly leading the country he doesn’t care about and other countries into a conflict that will cost us.
Americans should have a vote if continuing to send shiploads of bargain priced wheat to Egypt to feed their sworn enemies in return for the
useless local currency which they are then “expected to donate towards local good works” is really something they should quickly end.
It’ll be OK: John Kerry served in Vietnam. Jimmy Carter will supervise the free election to make sure the count is fair. Obama will take credit for the advancement of the democratic process on the Arab street.
While the media is busy celebrating these buffoons, no one will notice when the IDF bombs the munitions.
It’s hard to defend yourself from an enemy whose existence you deny.
