Like everyone else, I have no idea whether Herman Cain’s accuser is telling the truth. She says she is. He says she’s not. But one thing’s for sure, the way the media handles sex scandals COMPLETELY depends on the person’s political affiliation. For American politicians, I created this handy little flowchart to illustrate the mainstream media’s approach:

The winning bid came at today’s November sale, currently underway at Keeneland;
Keeneland also notched a new record for the sale of a weanling filly. Benjamin Leon’s Besilu Stables paid $2.6 million for a half-sister by Medaglia d’Oro to Horse of the Year Saint Liam and stakes winners Congressionalhonor, Quiet Giant and Dance Quietly from the Evans dispersal. The previous record of $2.4 million was set in November 2006 for a filly by Gone West out of Islington (IRE).
There may be method to this madness. Unlike gold, horses can reproduce. They can serve as alternative transportation – no fueling station required. And they’re edible.

As of 6:40 pm the CBC, CTV, Global, Star Phoenix/Leader Post, Sun News and Canadian Press election desks have called it for the Sask Party. (University Of Saskatchewan’s the Sheaf is the lone holdout.)
Now, we wait for polls to close.
At time of dissolution, the SaskParty held 38 seats to the NDP‘s 20. The Greens are the only other party with candidates in all ridings. The once mighty Liberals have been reduced to a shadow of their former selves. If I may offer some advice, it would be for the Liberals to merge with the few stragglers that comprise the old Progressive Conservatives to form a new part….. oh, wait.
