A week ago SDA regulars submitted some hilarious captions about a Bernie Sanders supporter dressed up as the Statue of Liberty. Now this past weekend I saw something that left me cracking up. While I’m generally terrible at writing humorous captions, even I have some ideas for this pair of photos. Let’s hear your best ideas!

Meanwhile, some Liberals have been privately bristling over what they saw as heavy-handed efforts to get members to back proposed changes to the party’s constitution. Others say the changes go too far in concentrating power at the top.
Shocking, I know. A party whose entire focus for sixty years is centralization of power with Ottawa is taking criticism for being controlling.

Donald Trump’s promise to get government out of the way of energy companies was greeted with hoots and hollers in shale-rich North Dakota, where the presumptive GOP presidential nominee presented his plan.

The US authorities have disciplined 41 Secret Service personnel for improperly accessing and leaking the personal information of a congressman who had scrutinized the agency, the Department of Homeland Security said.
The announcement comes after a report in September by the Department of Homeland Security Inspector General accused the Secret Service employees of accessing the personal files of Republican congressman Jason Chaffetz of Utah, chairman of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, who has led several inquiries into alleged misconduct at the agency.
They were punished with measures ranging from a letter of reprimand to suspensions without pay for up to 45 days, Secretary of Homeland Security Jeh Johnson said in a statement on Thursday.
That’ll teach ’em.
