  1. Obviously, the Zuckerbergs and Bezos of this world don’t want me to post. My computer has been shut down twice and my post lost for the third time. One last try and you will have me giving up:
My first reaction was to find out what an MRU was. A meal ready to upchuck? No. it is a self styled university located in Calgary, Canada. You know, Calgary, the Canadian version of Tulsa. (so far so good!) Next, Why is this Canadian smowflake bimbo worried about an AMERICAN ELECTION? I can see, she just wants someone to protect her, because that 97 pound weakling that stole the Trump hat from the guy and ran away, couldn’t protect her or Canada from an invasion of pussies. O! Canada. How you have fallen! Maybe someone in Canada can produce a Monty Python hat that will say “make Canada Great again.”

  2. When I was an undergrad 40 years ago, I remember seeing various communist and religious groups set up booths in the Students Union building. We respected their right to hold their views and opinions and the worst thing that happened is that someone would laugh at them. Harassment and badgering like what happened in this video rarely occurred, if at all.
I quit my teaching position at a certain post-secondary institution nearly 15 years ago. If this is what the system’s become, I’m glad I’m no longer in that business.

  3. I could not help but contrast this mild confrontation with what I have seen at some of the colleges/universities in the U.S.
Really, smiles all around in spite of disageement. No hysterical screaming. No profanity. Violence …. none. I didn’t see any tatoos or piercings. Canadians are nice people.
P.S. CAPTCHA is awful …. or great if you really don’t want comments.

  4. Thing is, the Commies and Young Socialists that used to hang around the student union back in the day (I saw the same thing in my undergrad days back 40-50 years ago, too) are now running the Student Union, and many of them are now tenured professors (what do you call 1000 sociology and gender studies professors chained together at the bottom of the ocean? A good start) to boot…

  5. I see the university snowflakes are now wearing hob-nailed boots.
God help us if those snowflakes get into government.

  6. Her white privilege and moral superiority show through as she isn’t a minority or an immigrant …
Therefore anyone who doesn’t agrees with and promotes her world view which seems very limited she views as hateful. People must fall in line and drink her brand of Kool aid or they must be evil. Justifying any violence she or her friends do to them.

  7. She has no rational argument to offer so she threatens him. Why is she in university? What happens when she is in the real world or just walking down the street? Classic snowflake.

  8. Maybe I’m wrong, but I am afraid I would whacked some of those leftie idiots across the head rather than try to reason with them. You cannot reason with mentally deranged people. Tell them to leave you alone and when they don’t, you are correct to react to their provocations.
Those twits should need a ‘safe space’ to protect them from being slapped upside the head. We really need to consider fighting back and letting them know that the game is changed. We need to make them more uncomfortable than they try to make us …. That won’t take much … they are snow flakes.

  9. Nothing is as shocking and upsetting to liberals as someone who disagrees with them. That’s an affront to democracy in their world. Disagreeing with a liberal is undemocratic according to them. Ever wonder why all communist countries have the word democracy in them?

  10. When I was much more active as a shortwave listener, I often heard signals from some of the commie stations. The twaddle that they broadcast was amusing, but only for a few minutes at a time. One can only take so much idiocy.
And, yes, they claimed they were freer than those of us in the oppressed masses in the evil west.

  11. And then there were those who were members of the Students Union council. When I returned to university 25 years ago to resume my grad studies, the SU at my alma mater was made up of people who might have later joined the Conservative Party.
Even the student newspaper reflected the current political trends, depending upon which year it was. One year, the editorial staff would be a bunch of jokers and clowns. Another, they could be radical leftists. After that, possibly right-wingers.
It certainly didn’t hurt Joe Clark. He worked on the University of Alberta student fishwrap “The Gateway”, eventually becoming editor-in-chief. I hear he eventually became prime minister of some country…..

  12. Well Dear hate speech must be orated to be actual forking SPEECH, second there is nothing hateful about the words thus you-in my opinion are– guilty of slander. I hope he seeks legal recourse and also files a complaint of bullying against her.

  13. Poor little snowflake is finding out that there are no safe spaces on the internet. Congratulations to the University President who is standing up for free speech. Notley will probably have to straighten him out.
    http://www.torontosun.com/2016/09/16/mount-royal-student-bombarded-with-death-threats-after-trump-hat-video
A young woman who argued that a slogan on a fellow student’s hat might make others feel unsafe is now reeling after receiving hate messages and deaths threats.
Zoe Slusar said hundreds of people have been calling her parents’ home as early as 5 a.m., leaving hateful messages. Others, including many Americans, messaged her directly through Facebook.

  14. The ONLY “hate” speech I detected was coming from the “offended” girl. SHE was spewing HATE. HATE for someone else’s FREE expression. Someone else’s OPINION. Someone else’s POLITICAL expression. SHE was HATING some nebulous … “it means… so much more …” that SHE INVENTED regarding the dude’s Trump slogan ballcap.
I guess this means that I can steal, deface, whine-about, remove, call-the-police about every “I’m with Her” swag that I see people wear. Or that H with a male sexuality arrow through it.
These people need to all be reverse-refugeed back to Aleppo with Gary Johnson … to see how much all their whiney 1st world sensitivities really count for in the REAL world.

  15. Exactly, and well said. You might recall my story of a step-brother and a friend who encountered communists in their teach training classes in the late 1950s. One went to McMaster in Hamilton and one went to U of Saskatchewan in Saskatoon.
The only reason lefties like this useless twit feel so brave is that she knows the Student Union, the administration and most of the professors will back her up.

  16. Oh, for the good old days…
    (1) “Hey, buddy – that’s my hat.”
    (2) “Hey buddy – give me my hat back.”
    (3) “Hey buddy – give me my hat back, PLEASE.”
    (4) (Hat Thief falls to the ground after a wicked right cross to the chin)
    (5) (Trump fan retrieves his hat)
    (6) “Hey buddy – can I help you up?”

  17. What is curious that it never occurred to the female airhead, who by the way severely lacks any sense of reality, that it was her that was the extreme aggressor and it was the male patsy that needed the “safe space”.
Here one must point out that use of New speak, as in “safe space”, is contrary to your agents policy, however it is unavoidable in this context.

  18. The only crime I see in the video is someone taking the subject’s hat from his head near the end of the video.
I think the girl is going to have difficulty in life when others don’t respond to her in the manner she demands. It can be a steep learning curve after uni.

  19. The airhead is finding out that having a big mouth and behaving like a brainless ass can have consequences.
When I was her age some 40 years ago, people believed in “live and let live”. Nowadays, it’s “I give myself the right to blow smoke in your face and you’re the bad guy if you object”.
Fortunately, there are still people who still know that one can take action if one’s rights are being violated. Unfortunately, it appears, not many of them are of her generation.

  20. I was a soldier in a communist run country on the border with, at the time, West Germany.
In the first few weeks we had the initial indoctrination. In the presentation it was repeated many times that we have to be on the border to keep the capitalist dogs out of our socialist paradise.
It could not be more clear to all, the instructors and the instructed, that there was a mutual understanding of reality without anybody saying a word. It being that we were there to keep the locals in even if we had to shoot them.
Thankfully it never had to happen.
Could tell stories, would be a book.

  21. Google her name (as soon as you type Zoe, her name is first up) and learn all about her because she is a very public person. She’s a “film maker” and, of course, is used to being in control. Like here:
Sending a message: Zoe Slusar, right, rallies students against Mount Royal University’s tuition hikes. Slusar believes that her school has been underfunded since it received university status. (Photo by Evan Whitmore/The Press)
There’s a word for people like her, not nice I agree but it’s appropriate: sh1tdisturber..
She’s making a career of it.

  22. Canada deports illegal aliens, so I guess Canada is a racist nation.
How is Trump a racist for suggesting an immigration policy similar to the immigration policies of every sane country in the world?

  23. Since, apparently, there’s no such thing as bad publicity, perhaps she deliberately provoked the confrontation, knowing that the recording would eventually be posted somewhere. She’s probably figured out that any number of professional activist groups (“You name it, we’ll protest it”) might be interested in her “services” and used this incident was a way of advertising herself.

  24. Don’t worry – she will soon be hired as a part-time commentator on the CBC. Leftists take care of their own.

  25. Lev, for future family roots history you should write that book about your family history. I have written three and translated one about our family’s life under Marx’s paradise in Russia.

  26. We know all about that sort of thing. My parents and I are from the former British sector of Berlin. We left several years before “die Mauer” was built.

  27. Don’t worry – she will soon be hired as a part-time commentator on the CBC. Leftists take care of their own.

  28. I’m one of the folks who sent her a FB message.
“You are a clueless moron” Short and sweet. I figured I wouldn’t be the only one contacting her.

  29. Because of her valiant defence of social justice in the face of such overwhelming odds, she won’t be just a commentator, but a resident “expert”.

  30. Two things…..would be interesting to test the “university” president or whoever the hell it was that this bonehead said she had talked to and the kid with the hat could either deal with her or the “president”. That official should make a statement as to whether Slusar actually DID talk to him/her and if not, Slusar should be booted off campus for the lie. Second, somebody should sent her a copy of Captain Capitalism’s book, “Worthless”…..because that is what her “degree” will be.

  31. She is a young white college educated voter who believes “placing her X” means voting 10 times and someone who can’t wait for the polls at MRU to open on Nov.8th.

  32. Sit and think for a moment how much of your taxes are being eroded to pay for university education so students can emerge as the idiots that are being shown here.

  33. a person as stupid as that young woman would never tell me what I could or could no wear. the skinny jerk who grabbed the hat would have required medical treatment. if Canadians are this stupid then the country needs to be dissolved and a fresh start taken.
