The Daily Sceptic- ONS Data Suggest a Vaccine Fatality Rate in the Over-75s of Up to One Every 275 Doses

The U.K. conducted a unique experiment beginning in late March and winding up in late August. All over-75s were offered a second ‘booster’ vaccination (fourth jab) and to date around 80% have taken up the offer.

eugyppius- Exhaustive study of German mortality data finds excess deaths tightly correlated with mass vaccination

Excess mortality in Germany 2020–2022 is a preprint by Christof Kuhbandner (a psychologist at Regensburg) and Matthias Reitzner (a statistician at Osnabrück) that applies sophisticated actuarial analysis to the publicly available all-cause mortality data provided by the German government. It turns out that when you account for historical mortality trends, the virus no longer looks so dangerous, and the vaccines no longer look so great.

AP- Jill Biden has ‘rebound’ COVID-19 case

Jill Biden, 71, and her husband, 79, have been twice-vaccinated and twice-boosted with the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine. She had been prescribed the antiviral drug Paxlovid, which has proven to be highly effective at preventing serious disease and death among those at highest risk from COVID-19, but a minority of those prescribed the drug have experienced a rebound case of the virus a few days after their initial recovery.

NIH- Are Lockdowns Effective in Managing Pandemics?

The price tag of lockdowns in terms of public health is high: by using the known connection between health and wealth, we estimate that lockdowns may claim 20 times more life years than they save. It is suggested therefore that a thorough cost-benefit analysis should be performed before imposing any lockdown for either COVID-19 or any future pandemic.

Vinay Prasad;

The fact the US, CDC, NIAID, FDA, etc etc. have to rely on a Thailand preprint for the first prospective study of cardiac biomarkers is mind-boggling negligence. The US and this CDC have shown that either they are incompetent to take safety signals seriously, or indifferent to safety. They earn Grade F. This study should have been done in the USA, by Pfizer 1 month after EUA was granted. End of story.

Doubling down

Even the perpetual food shortages in the Soviet Union were not dismissed as non-existent. Back then, the central planners at least made an effort to come up with a semi-plausible excuse like bad weather.

“There is no evidence whatsoever that ArriveCAN is causing any problems,” he told MPs at the commons transport committee.

He said, while there are still problems, air travel is improving and becoming more reliable. He said, by collecting vaccine information in advance, ArriveCAN speeds up the process.

“There are those who have a vested interest in embellishing reality and undermining confidence in our airline sector only to score political points,” he said. “ArriveCAN is actually helping process arrivals much faster and helping reduce congestion.”

It Could Have Been So Much Worse!

I think we can legitimately call him an anti-vaxxer now. I mean, he (allegedly) only got four doses of Magic Juice to prevent The Thing from happening but got it anyway. Fabulous product! What a success story. But really, if he had gotten five, or hooked up to a 24 IV drip maybe this would have never happened.

Preprint- Cardiovascular Effects of the BNT162b2 mRNA COVID-19 Vaccine in Adolescents

The most common cardiovascular effects were tachycardia (7.64%), shortness of breath (6.64%), palpitation (4.32%), chest pain (4.32%), and hypertension (3.99%). Seven participants (2.33%) exhibited at least one elevated cardiac biomarker or positive lab assessments. Cardiovascular effects were found in 29.24% of patients, ranging from tachycardia, palpitation, and myopericarditis. Myopericarditis was confirmed in one patient after vaccination. Two patients had suspected pericarditis and four patients had suspected subclinical myocarditis.

The Daily Sceptic- How Many Lives Did the Vaccines Save and How Many Did They End?

Some of these estimates and assumptions may be a little off in either direction, so not too much weight should be put on the exact figures. The important point is that the number of lives estimated to be saved by the vaccines is around the same as the number estimated to be lost to them or slightly lower – a conclusion which is consistent with the findings of Professor Christine Stabell-Benn, who analysed the all-cause death data from the mRNA vaccine trials and found a similar number of deaths in the vaccine and control arms.

We should also note that the longer term impact of the vaccines is still unknown.

It is looking very much like the vaccine programme failed to save any lives overall and was a very costly mistake.

Another Mandatory Vaccine Success Story

It’s a good thing they fired all the unvaccinated workers (who by now have natural immunity) and gave the real heroes bonuses.

Globe and Mail- More emergency departments across Canada forced to temporarily close because of staff shortages

The same mixture of burnout, vacations and pandemic-related absences led to staffing shortages and emergency department closings in other provinces over the weekend.

Dr. Smart said staffing issues in some Toronto-area hospitals are particularly troubling because urban hospitals often have specialty wards that require nurses with specific training, and hiring them can be very difficult. “When we’re losing people with that type of training and experience and they’re no longer working, it’s very worrisome,” she said.

And lets not forget the lockdowns.
